Full description
This is an experience from Phnom Penh, built around Oudong and Battambang Province. It is run by Cambodia Taxi Driver, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Battambang is Cambodia's second city and the calmest of them, a riverside town of French shophouses about three hours from Siem Reap. The bamboo train, the norry, is a bamboo platform on wheels driven by a small motor down a single track; when two meet, the lighter one is lifted off the rails by hand. The original line at O Dambong was replaced by a purpose-built tourist track at Banan. At dusk, millions of wrinkle-lipped bats stream out of a cliff cave at Phnom Sampeau for about half an hour in an unbroken ribbon, and the same hill carries a killing-cave memorial from the Khmer Rouge years.

Fantastic experience!! Our driver Thearak has been very kind during the trip and has been able to transform a simple car transfer into a very interesting whole-day trip. He explained us, during the way and during our stops, a lot of interesting things about Buddhism, Tonle Sap lake and river and Cambodia history. He also provided us with a lot of fresh water and refreshing towels during the way, Highly recommended!!!
Today we did the transfer tour from Battambang to Phnom Penh. Our driver Poland did a fantastic job: he is not only an excellent chauffeur but also an experienced guide who took great care of our well-being and provided us with lots of interesting information about the country and its people. Our highlight was the visit to the floating villages near Krakor, but Poland also showed us many other sights along the way (e.g. stone masonry workshops in Pursat, potteries, Oudong Mountain). Everything went smoothly and Poland delivered us to Phnom Penh on time. Absolutely recommendable!

Il villaggio galleggiante è stato veramente sorprendente come tutto del resto. La Cambogia è un paese bellissimo, con un popolo pacifico e disponibile che chiede solo di poter lavorare con i turisti, vi consiglio veramente di cuore questo viaggio
Esperienza fantastica! Avremmo potuto prendere un bus o un tuk-tuk ma ci saremmo persi una guida fantastica come Therak. preparato, accogliente, ottimo inglese. Non potevano scegliere di meglio per il nostro trasferimento Battambang-Phnom Pehn. E lo ricercheremo anche per il ritorno!
thearak our guide was fantastic, so much info and a great guide for the day. unfortunately I was super disappointed with the overall price of the whole trip, I didn't realise how absolutely unreasonable it was until we were able to see what things should cost here. I hope you don't rip everyone else off in the future, do better.
