Full description
This is a 5-hour experience in Phnom Penh, built around National Museum of Cambodia, Central Market Phnom Penh and Wat Phnom. It is run by Siem Reap er Travel, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Phnom Penh sits where the Mekong, the Tonle Sap and the Bassac meet, and the riverfront promenade along Sisowath Quay is where the city walks in the evening. Koh Dach, the silk island, is a short ferry upstream and still has weavers working handlooms under their houses, selling direct. Oudong, 40 kilometres north-west, was the royal capital for more than 250 years until 1866 and its hilltop stupas hold the ashes of kings. The Central Market's art deco dome opened in 1937 and the Russian Market, properly Psar Toul Tom Poung, is the one for silver, silk and knock-offs.

This was a brilliant trip and Lee a great guide with very good English skills. He told us a lot about history and life in Cambodia. We visited so many interesting places and learned so much. The tuktuk was a great way to travel around the city. Went on a couple of ferries, visited a farm and saw how tofu was made, saw silk making from the cocoon to a finished accessory and had snacks and fruit. A fun day out.
A great introduction to Phnom Pehn. Really enjoyed both parts and I was delighted to purchase some genuine hand made local silk products. Amazing photos and memories.

It was wonderful, my friend and I both enjoyed being driven around by George and Kim. The driving felt very safe, helmets were provided and we were given adequate time in all the stops. George and Lim went out of their way to show us Phnom Penh, and the stop on Diamond island was great to get some water. The cruise itself is lovely, on a very small boat which creates an intimate experience. They bought both fresh and friend spring rolls during the tour that we ate there. Overall, I would do it again!
I had an amazing experience exploring the city on a Vespa. Our guide, Kim, was incredibly friendly and attentive. He chose some really interesting stops along the way and gave us the freedom to wander around if we wanted. The cruise was fantastic, offering a fresh perspective of the city. I highly recommend this activity with the awesome driver, Kim!
