My guide Ms Sreyneang was excellent. She was patient and explained the complex history so well and with humanity. I was collected from my hotel promptly in an air conditioned suv and first we visited Choeung Ek (Killing Fields). On the journey Chheang explained the history that led to the regime and horrors under Pol Pot. At the site she explained further and answered my questions about the history and current Cambodian culture etc. At Tuol Sleng she guided me through the first 3 buildings and explained, with grace and humanity, the conditions and torture of the prisoners.
