Full description
This is a 12-hour experience from Phnom Penh, built around Angkor Wat, Siem Reap Province and Ta Prohm Temple. It is run by Tola Angkor Guide, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Angkor Wat was built in the first half of the 12th century by Suryavarman II as a Hindu temple to Vishnu, later turned to Buddhist use, and it is the largest religious monument on earth at roughly 162 hectares inside its moat. Unlike almost every other Khmer temple it faces west. The outer gallery carries about 600 metres of bas-relief, including the Churning of the Ocean of Milk, and the central towers represent Mount Meru. The upper level has a dress code that is actually enforced: shoulders and knees covered, no vests, or you are turned back at the stairs. An Angkor Pass is required and costs USD 37 for one day, 62 for three and 72 for seven, sold only through Angkor Enterprise; under-12s are free on a passport.

Am amazing tour by AJ! He was wonderful at explaining things clearly and helped guide us me advise us through the temples. He was very accommodating and went above and beyond by helping us with pictures too.
The tour was amazing. Mr. T took a lot of photos which for great memories. It was really cool and interesting to learn more about the temples and we even took photos with some monkeys! Lunch was fantastic and overall had a great time.

Great full day tour with Mr. AJ. We walked a lot and enjoyed every tour spots. You get to see a lot of good history here and what a great day tour from PNH without flying! Mr T was great! Super knowledgeable, and entertained all my questions — even ones not about the temples :) the weather in the morning was very nice, I got great pictures, and I feel like I got to see a lot in a short time. AJ was an amazing guide. He is from the area and has a lot of knowledge to share regarding the cultural heritage and the temple’s histories and historical importance. This was a great way to see see Angkor Wat while having limited time. Tola was a fantastic driver/guide. He was funny, thoughtful, and an amazing photographer as well. Breakfast was great and more than I could eat. I highly recommend.
