A 2-day trip from Phnom Penh that visits Phnom Penh, Phnom Penh to Oudong mountain temple, Oudong to Aundong Russsey Pottery Village Community and Pottery village to Krakor Kampong Loung Fishing Village. There are 5 stops altogether, so it fills the day rather than leaving long gaps between two or three highlights. The price covers 1-Way from Phnom Penh to Battambang and Siem Reap, stops at Oudong Mountain, Kampong Chhnang Pottery Village, K and Boat ride Kampong Loung fishing at shore the Tonlé Sap lake. It does not cover meals, accommodation and personal expenses, so budget for those separately. The Tonle Sap is the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia and it reverses direction twice a year: in the monsoon the Mekong pushes water back up the Tonle Sap river and the lake swells several times over, then drains again from about November. The villages on it live with that. Kampong Phluk's stilt houses stand six to ten metres up on their legs, dry underneath in March and wading depth in October; Kampong Khleang is larger, further out and far less visited; Chong Kneas is closest to Siem Reap and the most touristed. Which village works, and whether the boat can reach the flooded forest at all, depends entirely on the month.
