Full description
This is a 11-hour experience from Phnom Penh, built around Kep Crab Market, La plantation and Salt fields. It is run by Tola Angkor Guide, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Cambodia's south coast is a different trip from the temples. Kampot sits on a river under Bokor mountain and is known for its pepper, grown on smallholdings that can be visited, and for a grid of French shophouses. Kep, half an hour away, is a former elite seaside town of ruined modernist villas whose crab market sells blue swimmer crab cooked with green Kampot pepper while you wait. Bokor Hill Station above Kampot was a French retreat abandoned twice, and its shell of a casino sits in cloud most mornings. Sihanoukville is the port and the ferry point for Koh Rong and Koh Rong Sanloem.

The tour was good and interesting, just one thing that can be improved is that on short notice (the day before the tour) they informed us that the way to go to Kep was now by train and not anymorewit a car, which was not an issue but unfortunately not well organized as we were all seated in different part of the train. Would have been nice if we would have been together...
Bardzo miły i pomocny przewodnik. Szczerze polecam. Poza programem zatrzymaliśmy się dodatkowo w lesie namorzynowym i szczerze przyznam, że było to naprawdę wyjątkowe miejsce.
tourguide hat sich um uns gekümmert, hat uns gut uns sicher geführt, ging auf unsere Wünsche ein und war sehr freundlich, sprach aber nur das Nötigste und gab sonst sehr wenig Infos
We really liked the tour and the tour guide, Mr. T (Tola). The train ride and later the tuk-tuk tour around Kep - including the pepper farm, caves, salt fields, and the seaside crab market - were all perfect. Mr. T is a very knowledgeable and kind person with a great sense of humor :) He’s very communicative and speaks good English. Mr. T - thank you! Highly recommended!
The title of the trip mentions a scenic train trip. There was no train. The driver did not speak English, and we could not communicate with him. The guides in the pepper farm were really nice, though
Leider waren seine Englisch Kenntnisse nicht sehr besonders, doch hat er uns alle Wünsche erfüllt. Wir sind sehr zufrieden mit dem Ausflug und haben all das gesehen, was wir wollten. Der Guide war ausgesprochen freundlich und nett.
