Full description
This is a 4-hour experience in Phnom Penh, built around Phnom Penh and Tuk tuk. It is run by About Cambodia Travel and Tours, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Phnom Penh sits where the Mekong, the Tonle Sap and the Bassac meet, and the riverfront promenade along Sisowath Quay is where the city walks in the evening. Koh Dach, the silk island, is a short ferry upstream and still has weavers working handlooms under their houses, selling direct. Oudong, 40 kilometres north-west, was the royal capital for more than 250 years until 1866 and its hilltop stupas hold the ashes of kings. The Central Market's art deco dome opened in 1937 and the Russian Market, properly Psar Toul Tom Poung, is the one for silver, silk and knock-offs.

Great way to get out of the city and see some of the countryside nearby. We had Pum as a guide, he was great, very knowledgeable, showed us some good street food and even took us via the central market on the way back and waited for us while we browsed, so he could make sure we got back to our accommodation. Would recommend, the tuk tuk is great in the wet season, just for the breeze.
Mr Lim was a fantastic guide. He provided so much information to put context into the tour. He was earlier to pick me up, and all the visits provided plenty of time to explore. Highly recommend.
Vanna is a wonderful guide, full of stories about phnom penh’s architecture and history, and about Buddhism. We had such an amazing time in his company, always with a smile on his face! He really took the time during our afternoon at the silk island for explanations. 😁 We would greatly recommend!!

An easy 10/10. We had an amazing full day tour with Visal. From booking, the actual tour to drop off was brilliant. Visal was great at story telling giving us the history and the knowledge of the city, statues and temples. He kept us watered and let us manage our own times at each spot - no rushing. A must do easy, fun and full tour of Phnom Penh.
It was a really fun tour! The guide was cheerful and I enjoyed it from start to finish!
