Siem Reap's traffic is light by regional standards and the drive from Siem Reap Angkor International Airport, which opened in 2023 about 40 kilometres east of the town, now takes around 45 minutes rather than the ten minutes the old airport did. A viagem de Ho Chi Minh até à fronteira foi aceitável, apesar da condução algo agressiva do motorista. O Nível de inglês do motorista era baixo, pelo que a comunicação foi quase inexistente. A viagem desde a fronteira até Phnom Pehn foi péssima, com um motorista que não falava nada de ingles e que passou a viagem inteira ao telemóvel. Não houve qualquer paragem pelo caminho e à chegada ao hotel, começou a gritar connosco e seguiu-nos ate ao lobby a exigir-nos o pagamento da viagem.
