This is a 11-hour experience from Phnom Penh, built around Kampong Thom. It is run by Cambodia Taxi Driver, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Pickup is offered from Phnom Penh and Krong Siem Reap; the exact spot and time are agreed with Cambodia Taxi Driver once the booking is confirmed, and the option you choose sets whether transport is included.
The price covers Trip led by an English-speaking driver, Gasoline, Passenger insurance and Free bottles of cold water during the tour. It does not cover Meals and Sambor Prei Kuk temple ticket and Boat Ride Fee $15-person up to base your group size, so budget for those separately. Raman was amazing from start to finish - car was incredibly comfy for 4 adults with luggage, great explanations, well versed in local culture, destinations were well chosen. Temple at Prasat Sambour Prei Kuk a hidden gem, and fishing village was eye-opening. A wonderful way to get from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap.
We had an excellent driver named Thet, he was very considerate and modified our trip to suit our needs. He found great places to stop along the way and was very knowledgeable. The water village was unlike anything we’ve seen before and was very educational visiting such a place. We highly recommended him as a guide and driver.
An excellent day. Thearak drove carefully and spoke excellent English. He was very knowledgeable about Cambodian history and very willing to share his knowledge on the long drive to Siam Reap helping us understand the complex ancient and more recent history. The temple stop with a local guide was excellent and we stopped soon after for a delicious lunch by the lake with good recommendations from Thearak. We then stopped at the ancient bridge and were again given a full explanation from Thearak and finally stopped at Kampong Kleang fishing village . It was the end of the dry season so you could
The journey from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap was brilliant. Our driver (I think his name was Mr Zing) gave us lots of information during the rather long drive. Several stops were planned. All the stops were excellent. Mr Zing looked after us very well and showed us lots of beautiful spots (especially at the fishing village of Kompong Khleang on Tonle Sap Lake). At our request, he also stopped briefly at interesting spots so we could take photos. Thank you very much! It was a very successful day.

We had a wonderful day travelling from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap and seeing some really great parts of Cambodia along the way. Our guide Thearak was super friendly and spoke excellent English and was super easy to understand. He had an incredible knowledge of Cambodia and was able to tell us all about its history and day to day life here. All of the stops were fun and interesting, good value, and the car was very comfortable with good air conditioning even though it was quite a hot day.
What a great way to transfer between Siem Reap and Phnon Penh! Our tourguide Thearak was amazing! He had so much knowledge about Cambodia and its history and spoke brilliant English. My wife who is not a native speaker really appreciated this as she normally struggles to understand local tour guides accents. Thank you so much Thearak for a great experience!
Brilliant day. Our guide Thearak spoke excellent English and was so knowledgable about the history of Cambodia. It is a long day but broken up nicely by some amazing visits. He also found an excellent spot for lunch with amazing food. It really was a great experience especially the floating village which gave you an insight into the rural community of the Country. Nice comfortable car with cold towels and plenty of water. Would recommend to all of you are visiting Siem Reap and Phnom Penh, so much better than flying and missing so much to see. Perfect!!!
