Full description
This is an 8-hour experience from Phnom Penh, built around Udong Mountain and Silk Island. It is run by BREKSA TRAVEL, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Phnom Penh sits where the Mekong, the Tonle Sap and the Bassac meet, and the riverfront promenade along Sisowath Quay is where the city walks in the evening. Koh Dach, the silk island, is a short ferry upstream and still has weavers working handlooms under their houses, selling direct. Oudong, 40 kilometres north-west, was the royal capital for more than 250 years until 1866 and its hilltop stupas hold the ashes of kings. The Central Market's art deco dome opened in 1937 and the Russian Market, properly Psar Toul Tom Poung, is the one for silver, silk and knock-offs.

Was an amazing trip around the Mountain showing slot of beautiful pagodas and then a trip with lunch to silk island. If you have a day this is a beautiful way to see the landscape and silk bei by made and crafted into beautiful items.
Very nice driver who speaks really good English. The tour was very interesting- and he also took really nice pictures so we can always remember this day. We also learned a lot about Khmer culture too. Also took us to a very nice restaurant at the river for lunch. Would recommend!

Die Tour ist ideal um aus der Stadt rauszukommen und die umliegende Natur zu geniessen. Mein Guide Mr. Thy war sehr sympatisch und hat zu jedem Stopp interessante Informationen geliefert.
Excellente expérience qui permet de découvrir des lieux un peu moins connus pas très loin de Phnom Penh Un grand merci à notre chauffeur et guide Pum qui nous a permis de faire un arrêt supplémentaire au Golden Temple sur la route du retour et qui nous a montré comment plier les fleurs de lotus pour les offrandes !
L’excursion était vraiment agréable ! Cows notre guide était très sympa et parlait très bien anglais !
Remek volt a kirándulás, különösen a Selyem-szigeten tartott selyem készítésről tartott bemutató és ismertető ragadott magával. A túra alatt mialat az ebédre vártunk Sophoam, a túravezető, még egy billiárd meccset is beiktatott. Mindenkinek ajánlom a túrát.
