Full description
A half-day trip from Phnom Penh that visits Phnom Penh, Visitor center, Koh Dach and Secret stop. The price covers Hotel pick up and drop off, English speaking cycle guide and Mountain bike & helmet. It does not cover miscellaneous personal expenses and tips, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price. Phnom Penh sits where the Mekong, the Tonle Sap and the Bassac meet, and the riverfront promenade along Sisowath Quay is where the city walks in the evening. Koh Dach, the silk island, is a short ferry upstream and still has weavers working handlooms under their houses, selling direct. Oudong, 40 kilometres north-west, was the royal capital for more than 250 years until 1866 and its hilltop stupas hold the ashes of kings. The Central Market's art deco dome opened in 1937 and the Russian Market, properly Psar Toul Tom Poung, is the one for silver, silk and knock-offs. The price steps with party size rather than multiplying: 1 traveller is $51, 5 is $205 and 8 is $328. You are quoted the total for your party, not a per-head rate. Vana Adventures runs it. We book with them directly, so the guide who meets you works for the operator rather than for a reseller.

Mon was a fantastic tour guide. Very friendly, absolutely great english, very accomodating and knows quite a bit about everything. Everything went smoothly, got some great pictures and really good getting to know the islands and local culture.
I really enjoyed this tour, such a fun way to spend the day and my guide was so informative and chatty. I'm not the strongest cyclist and I still really enjoyed it. We went to a variety of places, silk island, a bean curd kitchen and cafe. Such a great day.
