Full description
This is a 4-hour experience from Phnom Penh, built around Golden temple, Koh Oknha Tei Market and Koh Oknha Tei Secondary School. It is run by Siem Reaper Travel, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Phnom Penh sits where the Mekong, the Tonle Sap and the Bassac meet, and the riverfront promenade along Sisowath Quay is where the city walks in the evening. Koh Dach, the silk island, is a short ferry upstream and still has weavers working handlooms under their houses, selling direct. Oudong, 40 kilometres north-west, was the royal capital for more than 250 years until 1866 and its hilltop stupas hold the ashes of kings. The Central Market's art deco dome opened in 1937 and the Russian Market, properly Psar Toul Tom Poung, is the one for silver, silk and knock-offs.

We had a great afternoon we enjoyed Sok our guide and our drive was also very good. Everywhere they took us was so interesting from the fried tofu skins to the silk village where we spoke to the family making the silk and they explained how the silk was made right from the beginning it was very interesting.
An absolute must do trip whether you are a tourist or even living in Phnom Penh. A great way to see day to day life in Cambodia.
We had a lovely morning exploring the countryside and sights of Phnom Penh and silk island with our tour guide Sam. He was so knowledgeable and informative and made the whole trip so fun and interesting. It was great to be able to cycle through the local villages to see another side to Phnom Penh! 😁
Such a joyful afternoon with our guide! We went wit the tuk tuk as we travelled with my mom, aged 75 years old. We visited the silk farm and a tofu farm, drank a coconut juice and saw the daily life at the country side. Big compliments to our guide and the drivers !
The guide Tintin was was excellent and the itinerary varied and interesting. The bike was well maintained and we avoided most traffic on smaller roads and tracks
Sok was very good on the bike tour and went at a pace that was fast but manageable. We swap so many temples and local cultural buildings and had a very good home made lunch. Would recommend!
This was a great day out. We were lucky as we were the only people booked so it was a 'private' tour. I was a little worried when I saw the bike saddles but they are covered with gel cushions so in the end it was great. It was a very hot day but Sam made sure we had plenty of stops and refreshment breaks. It was relaxed and once out of the city the roads were quite wirh some shade at times. this was an incredible trip, even in the rainy season! My guide, Tinan, was exceptional. very kind and knowledgeable. the pacing was good, and there were plenty of interesting stops and moments to rest. I cannot recommend this enough !

There was only me and Seer so we could go at my pace. 26 miles which I thoroughly enjoyed. The various ferries were fun and I loved the island and country side and seeing a different side toPhnom Penh. The focus was the cycle but I enjoyed the Golden Temple, the Tofu and market- it was good as I could wander on my own as well. Nice lunch and felt well looked after and informed. Would thoroughly recommend Seer and the tour😀🚴♀️
