This is a 4-hour experience in Phnom Penh. It is run by Siem Reap er Travel, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Phnom Penh sits where the Mekong, the Tonle Sap and the Bassac meet, and the riverfront promenade along Sisowath Quay is where the city walks in the evening. Koh Dach, the silk island, is a short ferry upstream and still has weavers working handlooms under their houses, selling direct. Oudong, 40 kilometres north-west, was the royal capital for more than 250 years until 1866 and its hilltop stupas hold the ashes of kings. The Central Market's art deco dome opened in 1937 and the Russian Market, properly Psar Toul Tom Poung, is the one for silver, silk and knock-offs.

Mr So, our guide was exceptionally excellent and extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of our trip. He drove our Tuktuk safely and carefully, had cold bottles of water ready to cool us down in the heat. He spoke us through a thorough history of each place we visited and went past, taking time to make sure we were ok throughout the trip. I would definitely do this again and also chose Mr So Thun as our guide over and over again.
We had a great time. We had 8 people in our group and the two drivers were great. We saw the sill island and also stopped to see where soy beans are processed. We also saw the golden Buddhist temple and all enjoyed. Thank you to our drivers!
An absolutely amazing afternoon getting out of the city and seeing another part of Cambodia. The tour guide was great fun! It was fascinating seeing how the silk was made as well as the use of soy beans to make dried tofu which actually tasted rather nice. Thank you to our guide for a wonderful relaxed few hours.
Le chauffeur etait très bien avec beaucoup d'explications. Nous avons pu découvrir une le temple doré, la fabrique de soja et l'atelier de fabrication de soie artisanale. Cette dernière était intéressante pour comprendre le processus de fabrication mais suite à cette visite la famille insiste fortement à acheter leur fabrication soi disant "artisanale" en vous indiquant que tout est fait main à partir de leur soi mais malheureusement au vue des avis sur internet, nous pensons que les produits vendu ne sont pas fait en soi et viennent du marché. Unser Fahrer (Sothea) hat einen super Job gemacht und war sehr sympathisch. Leider konnten wir wetterbedingt lediglich die Seidenherstellung und den Tempel besuchen, die restlichen Sachen hatten zu. Somit hat das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis nicht ganz gepasst
Sehr netter und guter Fahrer. Seifenherstellung ist interessant, natürlich soll man auch etwas kaufen. Mir hat die Herstellung der Tofuskin besonders gut gefallen.
Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Ausflug mit dem TukTuk und einen super tollen Einblick in die Dorfkultur und Handwerke der Region. Unser Fahrer war sehr nett und hat uns vieles erklärt und gezeigt. Ein sehr entspannter und eindrucksvoller Tag. Definitiv empfehlenswert
