Siem Reap's traffic is light by regional standards and the drive from Siem Reap Angkor International Airport, which opened in 2023 about 40 kilometres east of the town, now takes around 45 minutes rather than the ten minutes the old airport did. Within town a tuk-tuk is the normal way to move and a private car is the usual choice for the temple circuits, where the day involves long gaps between stops in heat that sits in the mid-thirties from March to May. Drivers wait at the temples rather than leaving, so a full-day car is hired by the day, not by the trip. The price steps with party size rather than multiplying: 1 traveller is $46, 5 is $78 and 8 is $130. You are quoted the total for your party, not a per-head rate. Brother Transports Travels runs it. our driver was lovely, Pantha kept us fully informed on his arrival and where to meet him, even sent a photo of the vehicle to help. we hadn't realised the journey would be one hour to our accommodation, but with his careful driving and chatter the time passed quickly.

Absolutely Terrible. We booked a private pickup and received a taxi that was small and very dirty. Dirty rags in the back seat. The rear window area was stuffed full of junk and the trunk was dirty and full of just. Not impressed at all. I cancelled the next booking I had through you with the same company.
