Full description
This is an 8-hour experience from Siem Reap, built around Angkor Wat, Srah Srang and Ta Prohm Temple. It is run by Journey Cambodia, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Angkor Wat was built in the first half of the 12th century by Suryavarman II as a Hindu temple to Vishnu, later turned to Buddhist use, and it is the largest religious monument on earth at roughly 162 hectares inside its moat. Unlike almost every other Khmer temple it faces west. The outer gallery carries about 600 metres of bas-relief, including the Churning of the Ocean of Milk, and the central towers represent Mount Meru. The upper level has a dress code that is actually enforced: shoulders and knees covered, no vests, or you are turned back at the stairs. An Angkor Pass is required and costs USD 37 for one day, 62 for three and 72 for seven, sold only through Angkor Enterprise; under-12s are free on a passport.

The tour was wonderful! Pal Saruon, the guide, and Da the driver, were extremely professional and provided an amazing tour filled with historical and religious information that allowed you to better appreciate the wonder that is Angkor Wat. Pal Saruon provided loads of information with accompanying photos before each temple, which really helped you to connect and understand with what you were seeing at the temples. Da always kept the van cold and provided cool cloths and ice cold water throughout the day, which was definitely needed in the Cambodian heat. Overall a lovely day hitting the highl

The tour was amazing! Mr.Sarkiya told us all about the history behind the temples and buddhism - undoubtedly showing his passion for the region in a very eloquent and inspiring way! Totally recommend this tour, it was one of the few tours in Cambodia that the tour guide was genuinely so talented!
We had an amazing full-day tour exploring the Angkor temples, ending with a beautiful sunset at Phnom Bakheng. Our guide, Pal Saruon, was excellent—very knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about Khmer history and culture. He explained everything clearly and made the day both informative and enjoyable. Our driver, Mr. Rada, was professional, punctual, and drove very safely, keeping us comfortable throughout the long day. The itinerary was well organized, and the sunset view was the perfect finale. We highly recommend this tour and team to anyone visiting Siem Reap!
Yuth our guide and Naro the driver had been both great. Yuth detailed and kind information on both places and general Cambodia history was the best and made us learn more about this great country. Naro helped with water and fresh towels across the day. Visited places were one of a kind and selected restaurant was delicious. If you go to Angkor, go with Yuth and his team!

Our guide was phenomenal, clearly passionate about sharing his wealth of knowledge about all the sites we went to, and taking great pictures of the group along the way! It was a erly start but the morning was wonderful. The information intressting and the amount of stops just right. In the ende it got quite hot and we did quite some walking, so the refreshments where welcomed
Yesterday we did the group tour with Yuth as our guide, we didn’t know what to expect going into it but we were pleasantly surprised with our experience! We were happy that we ended up in a small group of 3 (I think because of the rainy season) As for our guide he spoke great English and was very knowledgeable about the temples and the history of Cambodia.
