This is a 2-day experience in Siem Reap, built around Witness the Sunrise at Angkor Wat Temple, Experience Rural Countryside life and Ta Prohm Jungle Temple Exploration. It is run by BREKSA TRAVEL, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Angkor Wat was built in the first half of the 12th century by Suryavarman II as a Hindu temple to Vishnu, later turned to Buddhist use, and it is the largest religious monument on earth at roughly 162 hectares inside its moat. Unlike almost every other Khmer temple it faces west. The outer gallery carries about 600 metres of bas-relief, including the Churning of the Ocean of Milk, and the central towers represent Mount Meru. The upper level has a dress code that is actually enforced: shoulders and knees covered, no vests, or you are turned back at the stairs. An Angkor Pass is required and costs USD 37 for one day, 62 for three and 72 for seven, sold only through Angkor Enterprise; under-12s are free on a passport.

The ratings are only for the second day of the trip Mr Sam our guide was very nice and friendly and Mr Moon driver was very patient and I thoroughly enjoyed the trip. A great 2 day out with an amazing tour guide Seila, who took his time to show, explain the various locations visited together with background info as we travelled. Starting with an amazing sunrise above Angkor Wat and finishing off day with sunset over Tonle Sep. It between was fully packed but a relaxed pace, with early start on Day 1 for unbelieveable sunrise over Angkor Wat followed by visiting Angkor Thom, Bayon, and Ta Prohm with mid-morning meal at local restaurant having a good selection to suit all tastes. I really enjoyed my 2 days trip. It was slightly modified. The office proposed me sightseeing on the first day Angkor Wat and other temples and second day to swap with their tour to Kulen Mountains, waterfall, temple, floating village etc. It was a nice combination. My wife and I had the pleasure of experiencing amazing moments during a 2-day tour including a small circuit with Ankor Wat temple and also the big circuit at other temples (group tour) organized by Breksa Travel. In a word- transformative. Not only were the temples absolutely beautiful, particularly angkor wat, but our tour guide (Youk Makara) was outstanding. He was very friendly, spoke very good English, and above all he was incredibly knowledgeable about the temples, what the inscriptions meant and he knew his way around a camera!
