Angkor Wat was built in the first half of the 12th century by Suryavarman II as a Hindu temple to Vishnu, later turned to Buddhist use, and it is the largest religious monument on earth at roughly 162 hectares inside its moat. Unlike almost every other Khmer temple it faces west. The outer gallery carries about 600 metres of bas-relief, including the Churning of the Ocean of Milk, and the central towers represent Mount Meru. The upper level has a dress code that is actually enforced: shoulders and knees covered, no vests, or you are turned back at the stairs. An Angkor Pass is required and costs USD 37 for one day, 62 for three and 72 for seven, sold only through Angkor Enterprise; under-12s are free on a passport.

We had a wonderful time with Mr. Vannak! He was on time, and also reached out to me beforehand to confirm the pickup time. He went above and beyond throughout the entire day and gladly took us where we wanted to go, including driving a circle around Bayon to view the monkeys to make my boys happy. He had unlimited cold water and cold towels for us, which my boys and I truly appreciated. I highly recommend Mr. Vannak!

Brilliant. Chann was the perfect tuk-tuk driver & and very knowledgeable about all the temples. This is an excellent tour to visit the smaller temples and to take nice pictures. Chann had cold water and small cold towels available at every stop, he is a very careful driver and very very friendly. He also managed our time excellently. We booked on the last minute and was still accommodated with this brilliant person. We enjoyed every second.

We had a great day. Our guide Danny got in touch the day before to arrange our pick up. He arrived on time and was very helpful. He explained what we were doing through out the trip. He kept us supplied with cold water and wipes which were very appreciated. He was fun, and our photographer. He stopped at good places to take photos. I thoroughly recommend Danny as you tuk tuk guide. Thankyou Danny for making our day a really enjoyable experience

Everything was excellent. Driver was early, had plenty of cold water for us throughout the day, and cool towels after we returned from the temples. We would highly recommend using this tour to get your around Angkor Wat efficiently.

Très belle journée ensoleillée, Nous avons été ravis de visiter les temples avec notre chauffeur Danny. Très gentil, il a adapté le circuit à notre demande. Et nous a emmené vers un petit temple tranquille et calme au coucher du soleil. Magnifique !
