This is an experience from Siem Reap, built around Tuk tuk, Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom. It is run by About Cambodia Travel and Tours, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Angkor Wat was built in the first half of the 12th century by Suryavarman II as a Hindu temple to Vishnu, later turned to Buddhist use, and it is the largest religious monument on earth at roughly 162 hectares inside its moat. Unlike almost every other Khmer temple it faces west. The outer gallery carries about 600 metres of bas-relief, including the Churning of the Ocean of Milk, and the central towers represent Mount Meru. The upper level has a dress code that is actually enforced: shoulders and knees covered, no vests, or you are turned back at the stairs. An Angkor Pass is required and costs USD 37 for one day, 62 for three and 72 for seven, sold only through Angkor Enterprise; under-12s are free on a passport.

The best trip ever! Our driver was so helpful and friendly, and let us visit as many temples as we wanted for as long as we needed. Once back from each stop we were given a freezing cold bottle of water and a cold towel which was very needed. Highly recommend this tour! Thank you :)

Really good day and friendly driver. Explained every temple we were visiting and where he would pick me up after. Never rushed and sent pin drop locations to find him after on WhatsApp. Even came and found me when I got lost. His name was Titya.. spent a 2nd day with him it was so good.

The guide spoke English very well, and was willing to take as much time as needed waiting for me to finish exploring each temple. The more was always free water to be had (important in the summer here), and when it started pouring and we got trapped in the rain, he brought me the umbrella and braved the ride home. Fantastic experience.

A great day where you can set the pace. Our driver was lovely and provided us with plenty of water and cold cloths. Highly recommend this tour. We set off 10.30am to visit 5 main sights and were back at our hotel around 3.30, which was enough for us in the heat!

Our driver Campong (sorry if i butchered the spelling) was excellent. Very friendly and knowledgeable with great English. He took us to buy our passes before taking us to each temple, provided water and even took us to a breakfast place for something to eat
