Full description
A full-day trip from Siem Reap that visits Krong Siem Reap, Angkor Wat, Srah Srang and Ta Prohm Temple. There are 11 stops altogether, so it fills the day rather than leaving long gaps between two or three highlights. The price covers Professional English speaking tour guide, Transportation with A/C (Car/Minivan/Bus) and Hotel pick-up and drop off. It does not cover 1-day angkor pass ($37 per person) and lunch and soft drinks, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price. Sunrise at Angkor Wat is watched from the edge of the northern reflecting pool, where the five towers come up black against the sky and then double in the water. The ticket office opens at 04:30 and Angkor Wat lets people in from 05:00, which is why tours leave Siem Reap around 04:30 for a twenty-minute drive; the sky colours before the sun clears the towers, so arriving at first light is already late for the best of it. Dry season from November to March gives the cleanest skies, while the rains bring cloud that can either kill the sunrise or make it. The pool edge fills early, the southern pool is usually quieter, and a guide who knows which side to stand on is the difference between a photograph and a wall of raised phones. The price steps with party size rather than multiplying: 1 traveller is $150, 5 is $325 and 8 is $364. You are quoted the total for your party, not a per-head rate. ASEAN ANGKOR GUIDE runs it. We had a fantastic tour with Mr August and our driver Mr Theara. Mr August brought fantastic energy and knowledge to the whole morning - we learned so much about the history of the different temples and their cultural significance in Cambodia. We were very grateful for the cold towels on a very hot morning, too! We weren’t lucky enough to get a sunrise at Angkor Wat due to the weather, however this tour was still highly worthwhile. I highly recommend this tour!
Mony and our driver were amazing! Yes we went to visit Angkor Wat for sunrise for this bucket list experience but this tour was so much more! The other temples, the local experience. Thoroughly recommend 100%. Cool water to drink all day plus cold hand towels. Every detail was cared for.
An unforgettable experience made even better by our incredible guide, Veasna. From the moment he greeted us, his warmth and genuine passion for both the elephants and Cambodian culture was contagious. His English was excellent — clear and expressive — and his depth of knowledge about elephant behavior, conservation, and the sanctuary’s mission was truly impressive. Veasna made sure everyone felt safe, informed, and deeply connected to the experience. This was a highlight of my entire trip to Southeast Asia, and Veasna deserves enormous credit for that. Amazing !Mr August was our guide. Great communication prior to pickup via WhatsApp and continued throughout event, and couldn’t do enough for us. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about Cambodia and the positive impact tourism has on Cambodian community progression. Also a great photographer, special memories. Our driver provided cold towels and much needed water and was always ready pick us up from each point.
It was a really great tour, the guide August told us a lot of interesting histories and facts about Cambodia, and showed a lot of amazing sights for taking photo. The bus was quite comfortable with wifi, cold towels and water.
Everything was great, the guide and driver were excellent, they gave us umbrellas because of the rain, which was very nice, the guide explained everything very well, everything was excellent.
Had an amazing time with our guide Sa and driver Mr. Theara! Everything was well planned and perfectly organized from start to finish. Angkor Wat is truly breathtaking, but having a knowledgeable and friendly guide like Sa made the experience even more special. The bus was modern and in great condition with AC, and the cold water and wet towels were a really nice and refreshing touch!

Mr. Sam kept us constantly engaged with fascinating stories, historical anecdotes, and plenty of jokes that made the entire journey both educational and fun. Amazing day!! Our guide, Mony was incredible, and really friendly and took many photos! The bus driver was amazing also and we got unlimited cold bottled water and multiple cold towels!! Would recommend!!
Angkor wat and associated temples are a must see when in Cambodia and this provider was really good. Ramen (our guide) was very helpful and knowledgable, giving good overview of the history and suggesting the best places for photo opportunities. It's a long day and we were very hot at times especially at the end of the trip, so the cold water, cold flannels and air conditioned van were appreciated. Many people we talked to said the sunrise tour was better than the sunset tour which starts later in the day can get even more uncomortably hot. There's quite a bit of walking and climbing steps (in
