This is a 2-hour experience from Siem Reap, built around Tuk tuk. It is run by Passion Indochina Travel Co.,Ltd., an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Apsara dance takes its name and its poses from the celestial dancers carved in their thousands on the Angkor walls, and the classical form was rebuilt after the Khmer Rouge years from the handful of teachers who survived. The hand positions are a fixed vocabulary, each one a meaning, and a trained dancer's fingers bend back further than looks possible because the training starts in childhood. Most Siem Reap shows come with a buffet; the serious performances are shorter and ticketed on their own. Phare, the Cambodian circus, is a different thing altogether, a school in Battambang that takes children from hard backgrounds and stages modern acrobatic theatre about Cambodian life.

A very much recommended dance show. 6 traditional dances are performed in beautiful costumes. The show is held is some kind of theatre with a big hall in which the buffet is set up and there is place for around 200 - 300 people to eat. (We were only 40 people). The buffet is fantastic. A lot of choice. Please note that you have to pay for the drinks. If you drink water, the prices are fine,. If you however would like to drink alcoholic drinks, the prices are much higher than in other place.
A wonderful cultural experience in Siem Reap! The Apsara dance performance was beautiful, elegant, and a great way to learn more about Cambodian culture and traditions. I booked the package that included hotel pick-up and dinner, which made the evening very convenient and enjoyable. If I could give this more stars, I would! We had a delightful evening watching the wonderful and beautiful dancers perform. The evening dinner was THE best buffet we have ever been to ever - delicious, fresh and so much choice - it went on and on, dish after dish to choose from.. was worth going just for the food! The dancers were brilliant and we all enjoyed the evening so much ❤️

We had a great time at the Apsara dance show and buffet. We arrived just before 6.30pm and were guided straight to a table on the front row, and advised we could start getting food from the buffet immediately, this allowed an hour to enjoy the buffet and all the different varieties of foods available before the dancing began at 7.30pm meaning we didn't miss any of the dancing by going to get food or by still eating. The dancers performed 6 dances in total and there were little booklets on the table explaining the meaning behind each dance. The dances were fun and lively and we really enjoyed s
An amazing venue and show. The tables and set up great. Buffet food at four stations salad/starters, pizza/BBQ, mains curries etc. and dessert. The best food I experienced in Cambodia after 3 weeks. The dance show was enchanting incredible displays and costumes explained on a program sheet. A really high end activity at a bargain price.
