Battambang: Morning Tuk Tuk Food Tour of Our Iconic Dishes
Full description
A half-day trip from Siem Reap that visits Krong Battambang, Local café, Local bakery and Traditional village. There are 7 stops altogether, so it fills the day rather than leaving long gaps between two or three highlights. The price covers Coffee and tea from Grandpa Hai, Freshly baked Khmer treats and Guided market tour to Psar Sophy fish market. It does not cover gratuities, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price. Battambang is Cambodia's second city and the calmest of them, a riverside town of French shophouses about three hours from Siem Reap. The bamboo train, the norry, is a bamboo platform on wheels driven by a small motor down a single track; when two meet, the lighter one is lifted off the rails by hand. The original line at O Dambong was replaced by a purpose-built tourist track at Banan. At dusk, millions of wrinkle-lipped bats stream out of a cliff cave at Phnom Sampeau for about half an hour in an unbroken ribbon, and the same hill carries a killing-cave memorial from the Khmer Rouge years. Priced per person at about $58 each, so a party of 8 comes to $468. The price you see on this page is the total for the party size you pick, not a per-head figure to multiply. Urban Forage Food and Art Tours runs it. We book with them directly, so the guide who meets you works for the operator rather than for a reseller.

My tour with Mr. Sam was awesome! He was very knowledgeable and took me to all the best local spots. Highly recommend!
Absolutely loved this experience! I booked after doing their ultimate st food tour in Phnom Penh and they did not disappoint. So much delicious food, so many stories, more than a normal food tour in that we got to go inside the makers house for a couple of stops to see the process of making the food. Loved it. Highly recommend!
Die Tour war super, der Guide total nett und freundlich. Es gab einige leckere Gerichte zu verkosten und am Ende der Tour ist man definitiv satt. Es war auch sehr informativ. Klare Empfehlung!
