Bike the Angkor Temples - Full-Day 30 km Tour
Full description
A trip from Siem Reap that visits Gingold coffee, Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple and Elephant Terrace Complex. There are 7 stops altogether, so it fills the day rather than leaving long gaps between two or three highlights. The price covers Bike and helmet, English-speaking cycling guide and Lunch (if you choose lunch option). It does not cover hotel pick-up and drop off, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price. Angkor Wat was built in the first half of the 12th century by Suryavarman II as a Hindu temple to Vishnu, later turned to Buddhist use, and it is the largest religious monument on earth at roughly 162 hectares inside its moat. Unlike almost every other Khmer temple it faces west. The outer gallery carries about 600 metres of bas-relief, including the Churning of the Ocean of Milk, and the central towers represent Mount Meru. The upper level has a dress code that is actually enforced: shoulders and knees covered, no vests, or you are turned back at the stairs. An Angkor Pass is required and costs USD 37 for one day, 62 for three and 72 for seven, sold only through Angkor Enterprise; under-12s are free on a passport. Priced per person at about $43 each, so a party of 6 comes to $259. The price you see on this page is the total for the party size you pick, not a per-head figure to multiply. Siem Reaper Travel runs it. We book with them directly, so the guide who meets you works for the operator rather than for a reseller.

Traveler Reviews
Mr Chen was a great guide and very friendly person, would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Siem Reap, cycling around was the best way to see all the temples and explore peaceful jungle routes. It was very informative about the temples history and well organised with plenty of breaks for water and food.
Best tour! When I got to the starting location, it turned out I was the only one booked, nevertheless the guide Seng was very welcoming from the first moment. He got me a cup of coffee, took me on his motorbike to get quick breakfast before the tour as I hadn't eaten, then went back to collect the bicycles and off we went. Seng was a lot of fun to be around with all day, he was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the temples, he made the stops very interesting and entertaing and even answered a lot of my questions that weren't related and took lots of cool photos for me. He took safet
Four of us had a great day out cycling to Angkor Wat and visiting a number of the nearby temples including ‘Tombraider’. Looked after by Sang, he made us feel welcome and looked after all of us. The bikes had been fitted to our heights beforehand. As a cyclist myself I would say the mountain bikes were above average as far as rentals go. Distance was less than advertised. As we all had our Angkor passes it meant we did around 15km total interspersed with the stops to the temples and food stops. One tip, we ordered a local lunch which turned out to pretty much be a dinner, very nice, though jus
I lucked out on a solo ride with tour guide, Chen. We took what must have been "the back way" to several temples and were able to avoid major crowds at the main entrances. Chen walked with me through the complexes while explaining Khmer history and culture (very knowledgeable guide), and also let me explore by myself at some points. I felt very satisfied with the ground we were able to cover throughout the tour. The bike route is mostly flat and easy to ride. Definitely would do this again and recommend to any first-time visitors.
Lot was an amazing guide, we cycled to and from Angkor temples, in total it was 30km. It is quite the experience. Enjoyed every bit of it, felt safe and he wasn't moving too fast.
We had a Great time doing the mountain bike tour with our family of 4 (9 and 12 year old). We visited the three main temples and heard a lot about the history of the temples and about Cambodia from our guide Chen. Hé also took great photographs and knew good places for coffee, fruit, water and lunch. We biked through a little village, along a pretty good bike path and along some hidden temples. A great day in Angkor wat area, even with 35 degrees. Thank you Chen!
We had an amazing 30 km bike tour with Hun Hong! He was the best—very knowledgeable about the history of the temples, and we learned so much throughout the tour. The best part was that he also took incredible photos and videos for us, making the experience even more memorable. We will definitely come back and do this tour again with our friends. Highly recommended!
Sarak was an excellent guide for our biking around Angkor Wat temples! He offered to pick us up from our hotel with all of the bikes ready and waiting for us. He successfully guided us through town to the temples and shared so much history and information about the temples. Sarak was patient, friendly, and very professional. He also was an excellent photographer, taking and sharing many photos of our tour group. We had a fantastic day and highly recommend this tour.
What an extraordinary experience, driving by bike through forests patos and exploring this fascinating temples. It was amazing. Our guide Muen (Moon) was unbelivable, always explaining the history of the temples, and taking the best pictures. I do recomend the experience, but most of all Muen guide. Muen you were top!!!
Very good day trip to explore some of the famous temples of Siem Reap like Angkor Wat, etc Seng was a very good guide
This was by far the best thing in Siem Reap. Chen was a perfect guide. He was funny but also very helpful. It was a very hot day and we were worried about cycling in the heat but to be honest that was the easy part! The cycle tracks are quiet and shady so very easy to do. The temples are hot! Chen was a brilliant guide and very informative. He was so kind and made sure we were ok all of the time. We really enjoyed just talking with him. The bikes are good quality although maybe I would like a wider saddle!! A great day, the cycling, the scenery and the company. Make sure you do this here, you
nothing to improve. it was the best way to see the temples and fun bike tracks between
