This is a 3-hour experience in Siem Reap, built around Tuk tuk, Cambodia Quad Bike and Baitang SIEM REAP បៃតង. It is run by Mad Monkey Siem Reap, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

The countryside immediately around Siem Reap is rice paddy, sugar-palm trees and villages that are five minutes off the temple road and rarely seen by people doing the circuits. The sugar palm is the national tree and its sap is tapped from the crown by men who climb a notched pole twice a day, boiled down to the palm sugar used in every Khmer kitchen. The rice year sets everything: transplanting in the wet months, the fields green through the rains, harvest around November and December, then dry stubble and dust. Late afternoon is when the light works and when the villages are out, so most of these rides run to sunset.

This was a fun trip which was thrilling to experience. The roads are bumpy but it was nice to see the country side near Siem Reap. My guide was amazing and knew where the good picture spots were. He even took a video of me riding which was a special touch. Although it was a cloudy day and I didn't really see the sunset, the snacks and drinks provided were excellent and the staff at Baitang were attentive. This is a great tour to get some thrills, see the country-side and enjoy a nice evening with some snacks and drinks.
