Full description
A full-day trip from Siem Reap that visits Epic Arts Café. The price covers Full-day tuk-tuk transportation, Experienced local guide or driver and Guided pepper farm walking tour & tasting. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price. The countryside immediately around Siem Reap is rice paddy, sugar-palm trees and villages that are five minutes off the temple road and rarely seen by people doing the circuits. The sugar palm is the national tree and its sap is tapped from the crown by men who climb a notched pole twice a day, boiled down to the palm sugar used in every Khmer kitchen. The rice year sets everything: transplanting in the wet months, the fields green through the rains, harvest around November and December, then dry stubble and dust. Late afternoon is when the light works and when the villages are out, so most of these rides run to sunset. Service Tour Cambodia runs it. Highly recommended tour! Vandy is a great guide, speaks excellent English, and knows a lot about the region. The pickup was perfectly on time. We loved that we could help shape the itinerary (e.g., choosing the pepper plantation). There was no rushing at all, and Vandy always adapted to our preferences. Would definitely do it again!
This tour was such a great way to see both towns without having to plan the logistics ourselves. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly the whole day. We started at the Salt Fields but the best time to visit is in dry season. The Phnom Chhngok Cave Temple was a real highlight — climbing up into the limestone cave to find a 7th-century Hindu shrine felt like a hidden gem most tourists miss. The Secret Lake was beautifully peaceful, and the Kampot Pepper Farm tour with free tour and tasting afterward was excellent. Kep Crab Market was a definite highlight for food lovers, and the Blue Swimmer
The tour was very nice. It allowed us to see all the main points of interest in Kampot and Kamp. We tasted locally grown pepper and had lunch on the beach. Our guide was fantastic and allowed us to customize our experience by letting us choose some activities. We also saw less touristy places, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the local culture. I highly recommend it. Cambodia is fantastic, and the people are even more so!
We had a fabulous tour with Vandy! Such a lovely day with all the ladies. We got to see beautiful lookout spots and rice fields and explored a cave! The pepper farms were amazing as well and we got to do a tasting before going to lunch and getting fresh fish!
