Full description
This is a 10-hour experience from Siem Reap, built around Phnom Kulen National Park, Local restaurant and Kaoh Ker. It is run by Angkor Day Trip, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
The outlying temples take a half or full day of driving and repay it with emptiness. Beng Mealea, about 60 kilometres east, is a 12th-century temple of Angkor Wat's scale left largely uncleared, crossed on walkways over collapsed galleries. Koh Ker, two hours north-east, was briefly the capital in the 10th century and has Prasat Thom, a seven-tiered sandstone pyramid 36 metres high that you can climb by a wooden stair. Sambor Prei Kuk, listed by UNESCO in 2017, is older than Angkor itself, pre-Angkorian brick towers standing in forest. Some of these sites carry their own separate admission on top of the Angkor Pass.

We booked the tour and were very pleased with the different locations to explore in the outskirts of Siem Reap. We learned that there is much more worth to see. Our tourguide, Mr. Tann, was very well prepared and provided us with lots of background information and was able to answer all of our questions. We would recommend this tour to everyone, who wants to see a bit more of the fascinating landscape and learn about the history of Cambodia outside of Angkor.
We loved this tour! It allowed us to see many beautiful places all in one day. Great thing about this tour is that it starts early enough to catch these amazing places before other tourists - we were all alone at the waterfall! Our tour guide Tann was super nice, told us a lot about Cambodia History and current events, he had great knowledge about the temples. He was also an amazing photographer and took a lot of pictures for us! The transportation was very comfortable, punctual, the lunch was tasty. Tour wasn’t rushed and we felt like we could experience places we visited exactly as we wanted

Bester Guide ever!!! Er hat auf uns Rücksicht genommen , Land und Leute erklärt, geschichtliches Wissen vermittelt und ist perfekt die 240 km gefahren. Ich kann den Ausflug sehr empfehlen auch wenn er anstrengend ist.
Questa nuova attività proposta da Tann e dalla sua compagnia è stata perfetta. La guida è stata puntualissima e sempre molto attenta alle nostre esigenze. Ci ha offerto acqua fresca, piccoli snacks e asciugamani freschi ogni volta che siamo tornati nella macchina. La macchina pulitissima e nuova. La guida ci ha portato a vedere dei luoghi incantevoli: la montagna Kulen, il fiume dei mille linga, Koh Ker e altri templi, Beng Melea e tanto altro. Herr So hat uns pünktlich abgeholt und uns über die Sehenswürdigkeiten detailliert informiert. Wir waren eine kleine Gruppe und er hat bei jeder Sehenswürdigkeit mehrere Fotos von uns gemacht, die er uns dann zugeschickt hat. Er war wirklich der beste Guide. Er hat uns sogar rote Bananen zum Kosten gekauft! Herr Trop war der Fahrer und war ebenfalls fantastisch. Er hat uns durch die mit Schlaglöcher und Unebenheiten übersetzen Straßen sicher an die Ziele gebracht und uns immer mit frischen gekühlten Tüchern und gekühlten Getränken versorgt. Insgesamt war es eine traumhafte Tour.
