Full description
A full-day trip from Siem Reap that visits Siem Reap Province. The price covers Professional English tour guide, Private air-conditioned transport (car, minivan, van) and Hotel pickup & drop-off. It does not cover food, elephant entrance fee: us$45 per person and kulen mountain entrance fee: us$20 per p, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price. Phnom Kulen is the sandstone plateau the Angkor temples were quarried from and the place where Jayavarman II declared himself universal monarch in 802, which is the founding date Cambodians give their empire. The road up is steep and the site carries its own USD 20 entry, separate from the Angkor Pass. At the top are the two-tier waterfall people swim under, the river bed carved with lingas at Kbal Spean's larger cousin, and a reclining Buddha cut into a boulder at the summit pagoda, reached barefoot. It is a full day from Siem Reap and best in or just after the rains, when the falls actually run. Priced per person at about $72 each, so a party of 8 comes to $572. The excursion is incredible! These are lifetime memories 🤩 Going to the waterfall, there are multiple very intresting spots to stop at, amazing views and local history our guide Phally could explain with great passion! The waterfall looks like something straight out of a fairy tale, we hare more than an hour out of time to relax, have fun with the fishes and see many butterflies ✨It's a Magical Place ✨ Spending an afternoon so close to the elephants was just as wonderful! La excursión sin duda inolvidable. Tuvimos mucha suerte con nuestro guía Phally Sok, nos explicó todo con mucho detalle y mucha devoción y cariño a su país, Camboya. El paisaje es increíble y la excursión con los elefantes súper enriquecedora. Phally fue maravilloso y muy cercano con nosotros. Lo único que la aplicación al reservar está excursión no especifica el precio de la montaña y de los elefantes, es un precio elevado pero merece la pena. Recomiendo mucho esta experiencia y espero que tengáis tanta suerte como nosotros con nuestro guía.
Phally was a great guide for our time in the Kulen mountain area. We appreciated his thorough knowledge of Cambodia. His English was excellent and easy to understand. Notre guide Phally, nous a pris en charge puis emmené dans la réserve naturelle de Kulen. Avec toute les explications les détails sur ce lieu de culte et de nature sauvage exceptionnel. Sans oublier cette baignade sous les cascades qui a fait un bien fou. (Prévoyez votre maillot et crème solaire) Ensuite direction les éléphants, pour un instant magique auprès de ses animaux si attachant. We warmly recommend this trip to anyone interested in Cambodian nature and a seamless escape from the city! The day included incredible experiences one after another, thanks to our fantastic guide, who also took numerous photos and videos of us as keepsakes. Despite the natural attractions, the hiking and strenuous walking in the heat were moderate, making the experience even more enjoyable. It's suitable for both children and eldery.
