Full description
This is a 10-hour experience from Siem Reap, built around Preah Dak, Phnom Kulen National Park and Wat Preach Angthom. It is run by BREKSA TRAVEL, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
The Tonle Sap is the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia and it reverses direction twice a year: in the monsoon the Mekong pushes water back up the Tonle Sap river and the lake swells several times over, then drains again from about November. The villages on it live with that. Kampong Phluk's stilt houses stand six to ten metres up on their legs, dry underneath in March and wading depth in October; Kampong Khleang is larger, further out and far less visited; Chong Kneas is closest to Siem Reap and the most touristed. Which village works, and whether the boat can reach the flooded forest at all, depends entirely on the month.

Amazing experience, very well planned tour. August was excellent as a tour guide and Taar was our driver, always providing cold water and cold towels immerse in lemon grass. Can’t wait to return!! Highly recommended!!!
Mr. Many was an excellent guide! He was funny and informative. He gave good details about all our stops and answered our questions. He spoke great English and took care of each guest. SaPaul was a great driver. Got us around safely and quickly. Keep us hydrated and had snacks. Van was very clean and kept the temperature comfortable.
Everything was so great about it. Our guide Mony and our driver made sure we were looked after the entire time. Mony was enthuasiastic both in our wellbeing and providing us with knowledge of each part of the trip. The trip overall was also very good. I would definetly recommend.

It was a very nice experience, our guide Sam and driver Jame made this trip amazing. We went to a mountain first and Sam showed us good places for pictures and helped to take it as well. Then we went to temple and waterfall to have lunch. The last stop was a lake where we can see life of local fishermen. Very interesting
Sam and our driver Mr. Jame were so amazing! The experience was fantastic, even better than what we expected. Sam knows a lot about the Cambodian culture and he explained us a lot in the temples and in all the other places that we have visited. They were so kind, the food was excellent in the best place I have ever been (waterfall) and they were so kind with us all the time. They gave us the best information and experience! Recommended at 100%!!
Really impressed by the tour our guide mr moon was really helpful answered all of questions great way to get a feel of the local community. The only comment I’d make is there’s quite a few expenses not included in price which isn’t the most clear $20 to go up mountain $15 boat at floating village and optional $10 for temple which is an additional $45 onto of price on the booking for just be aware of that!
Fun trip with a nice waterfall, scenic lunch, a temple taken over by nature and a boat trip along the river to a floating village. We enjoyed our guide Mr Sam and the driver, Mr Sothea was also really lovely.
It was such a knowledgeable & comfortable fun tour. Mr Monly gave us quite a handful information about Cambodia & all the local places we visited. Mr Moon kept chilled bottle after every stop & we were served with fruits, they took care of special requirements. Overall... It was a great team & a great tour.
