Full description
This is an 8-hour experience from Siem Reap, built around Preah Dak, Phnom Kulen National Park and Poeng Ta Kho (Amazing Cliff). It is run by ASEAN ANGKOR GUIDE, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Phnom Kulen is the sandstone plateau the Angkor temples were quarried from and the place where Jayavarman II declared himself universal monarch in 802, which is the founding date Cambodians give their empire. The road up is steep and the site carries its own USD 20 entry, separate from the Angkor Pass. At the top are the two-tier waterfall people swim under, the river bed carved with lingas at Kbal Spean's larger cousin, and a reclining Buddha cut into a boulder at the summit pagoda, reached barefoot. It is a full day from Siem Reap and best in or just after the rains, when the falls actually run.

Highly recommend this tour. Mony and Leap did a great job looking after the group. Very informative and welcoming. The views are stunning and the food was delicious. Plus you'll get to experience a bit of the rural life in the area too

Our guide Sean was on time, provided us lots of interesting facts not only about the national park, but also about the entire country - his english is very good, same as his positive attitude. We had a tasty lunch. Also our driver Mr. Tha for the entire time made sure that we are travelling in a comfortable way providing us water and towels. We recommend this tour, and especially we recommend guide Sean!
Trip was great. Me August did a great job. Good food, I requested vegetarian and arranged one for me. Waterfall was amazing, had changing room. Overall good trip , i would recommend to anyone who wants to do an adventure trip without much trek, its great
the most interesting was the Hindu Buddhism background / history information in order to fully understand the stops of the tour.
Stopping to see palm cake production ( and trying the plum cake) was a nice addition.
The trip is definitely worth going for it is so well organized thanks to our guid Mr. Mony who has decent London accent and rich experience. The water fall is still amazing even though now it's the dry season. Besides the roasted chicken is fantastic for the picnic at the river!
We were lucky to get Mr Sam again (he also did our Anghor Wat trip) . He is such an experienced tour guide, and is so knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He loves his job and it clearly shows. He is articulate and has a great sense of humour. We loved this trip and met a good selection of other guests. The picnic lunch was fantastic. Khmer grilled chicken, rice and spring rolls, along with a selection of local fruits, all prepared by Mr Thea who was also our driver. Thank you for a wonderful day trip.
It’s the best trip i have been on in Colombia. Our guide sa ( Sareik) was the best 💪 He was so good in english, knew so much, told some interesting stuff and was so kind. And the trip and the activities was so good
I absolutely loved this thoughtfully planned tour. All of the stops (Kulen Mountain, 1,000 Linga, and waterfall) were very interesting and Dara, our guide, provided great background information and shared personal stories that added so much to the sites and my understanding of Cambodian culture. I highly recommend this experience. The small group size really allowed us to interact on a personal level and we ended the day as friends. Very special!
