A full-day trip from Siem Reap that visits Krong Siem Reap, Preah Dak and Phnom Kulen National Park. The price covers Hotel pickup and drop-off within Siem Reap town, Professional English Speaking guide (inclusive) and Visit as per itinerary features. It does not cover entry to kulen mountain pass which cost, a german/chinese speaking guide is an ex and a spanish/japanese speaking guide is an, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price. Phnom Kulen is the sandstone plateau the Angkor temples were quarried from and the place where Jayavarman II declared himself universal monarch in 802, which is the founding date Cambodians give their empire. The road up is steep and the site carries its own USD 20 entry, separate from the Angkor Pass. At the top are the two-tier waterfall people swim under, the river bed carved with lingas at Kbal Spean's larger cousin, and a reclining Buddha cut into a boulder at the summit pagoda, reached barefoot. It is a full day from Siem Reap and best in or just after the rains, when the falls actually run. This one is priced for the group rather than per head: 1 traveller costs $284 and 8 costs $284, so the more of you there are the less each of you pays. Wadi Rum Fire Camp runs it. We book with them directly, so the guide who meets you works for the operator rather than for a reseller.
