A full-day trip from Siem Reap that visits Krong Siem Reap, Preah Dak, Beng Mealea and Kampong Phluk. The price covers Hotel pickup and drop-off, Transportation by A/C car or minivan and Professional English speaking tour guide. It does not cover beng mealea pass: us$10 per person (vali, tonle sap lake pass with a boat ride: us and soft drinks, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price. Ta Prohm is the temple the French conservators deliberately left half-swallowed, so the silk-cotton and strangler fig roots still pour over its galleries, and it is the one every visitor recognises from Tomb Raider. It was built by Jayavarman VII in 1186 as a Buddhist monastery and university; an inscription records that it once supported more than 12,500 people, with another 80,000 in the villages that fed it. Wooden walkways now route visitors past the famous roots, which means the queue for the best-known tree can be long by mid-morning. Preah Khan, its larger companion to the north, gets a fraction of the crowds and is the better walk for anyone who wants the same atmosphere without the line. The price steps with party size rather than multiplying: 2 travellers is $362, 4 is $650 and 6 is $741. You are quoted the total for your party, not a per-head rate. ASEAN ANGKOR GUIDE runs it. We really enjoyed our afternoon and I am very happy that I chose this tour over some of the cheaper options. Our guide was amazing! The trip to the Satcha Market was very interesting, seeing how they carve sandstone and wood and make other handicrafts. The stop was not rushed, nor were we pressured to buy anything, so we could ask many questions to the Satcha guide, and our tour guide Mr Ho would also add details that were interesting. Good your seeing the fishing village, Sean was a great guide and told us lots of info. He also took us to see the sunset at the crocodile farm. The boat ride is a lot of fun esp for kids. Overall a good trip tho the poverty in the fishing village itself is heartrending…

It was pleasant experience. The tour included going to arts center, boat ride and village walk tour and pick/drop to hotel. Mr.Jan was kind, knowledgeable and patient throughout the journey. I got to see the rainbow while waiting at the restaurant. Overall well spent day.

It was one of the best tours we’ve been on so far! It turned out that my husband and I were the only ones who booked the tour for that day and we were given a private tour! We can highly recommend the driver and the car, it was air conditioned and we were given ice cold water and wet towels after every stop. We would like to thank our tour guide Sean who took care of us and gave us a lot of insight into the life of Kampong Phluk village and Tonle Sap.
It was a really fantastic tour- we enjoyed each part of it. The floating village was so interesting to visit and the sunset was beautiful. But what really made the tour for us was our guide, Boren, it was like talking with a friend. He was so open, interesting and funny. We learnt so much about Cambodian life and culture. Definitely recommend that you request Boren when you book!

Excellent afternoon tour. First visit was a handicrafts center with beautiful crafted art, woodworking and woven products. Then on to the amazing fishing village, Khampong Pluk and out onto the great Tonle Sap lake to see the sunset, which was quite spectacular. The knowledgeable Mr August, my guide told me so much about Cambodian history and culture. Highly reommended.
Fantastic tour of the floating village alongside the Tonle Sap river and lake. We are four friends traveling together we had the amazing Mr Handsome as our guide. Mr Handsome is informative, interesting and funny and we had a wonderful afternoon with him. The tour ended with a stunning sunset whilst were on the Tonle Sap lake. Perfect day and perfect guide. 100% recommend this tour with Mr Handsome.
