Drivers wait at the temples rather than leaving, so a full-day car is hired by the day, not by the trip. A great way to travel. Our driver was great, friendly, and got us to our destination efficiently and safely. Originally we travelled to Siem Reap via VIP mini van and while this was also quite good (and much cheaper) we chose to travel back to Phnom Phan in a private car and it was a much more enjoyable experience having the car to ourselves which was worth the extra cost. the vehicle was excellent for the long journey. it was only for two if us so we were able to recline pur seats and sleep. our driver Darow was courteous providing drinks and snacks, and drove safely. he was accommodating to stop whenever required and provided some insightful information on areas as we entered phnom penh. Highly recommended for a long journey especially for 2 people to travel in comfort
