Siem Reap's traffic is light by regional standards and the drive from Siem Reap Angkor International Airport, which opened in 2023 about 40 kilometres east of the town, now takes around 45 minutes rather than the ten minutes the old airport did. Within town a tuk-tuk is the normal way to move and a private car is the usual choice for the temple circuits, where the day involves long gaps between stops in heat that sits in the mid-thirties from March to May. Drivers wait at the temples rather than leaving, so a full-day car is hired by the day, not by the trip. The price steps with party size rather than multiplying: 1 traveller is $293, 5 is $514 and 8 is $926. You are quoted the total for your party, not a per-head rate. Cambodia Taxi Driver runs it. Vi ble plukket opp som avtalt på hotellet på koh chang. Turen til grensa gikk som den skulle, med ett par stopp for å gå på do og spise. Når vi kom til grensa fulgte vi bare strømmen og skiltene. Når vi kom på Kambodsja siden, sto en mann fra transportselskapet og ventet på oss. Han viste oss resten av veien og han hjalp oss med å fylle ut skjemaer. Vi kom oss i bilen som skulle ta oss resten av veien, sjåføren var veldig hyggelig og hadde veldig mye lokal kunnskap, veldig lærerik biltur. Alt i alt en veldig behagelig opplevelse
Transporten gik helt som forventet. Vi blev hentet på hotellet til tiden - kørt til grænsen og så stod den næste chauffør klar. På den thailandske side blev kørt helt til hotellet selvom der var en færge imellem. Kan klart anbefale denne service
