Scenic Boat Journey from Siem Reap to Battambang

Such an amazing day and perfect way to transfer from Seim Reap to Battembang. Loved seeing life on the lake and rivers and the floating villages. Stopping at local crafts projects, temple and the monks very welcoming and showing us their temple. Life on the river with fishermen prawn fishing. The children wanting to interact. Beautiful trip with a very lovely and professional host.

We successfully reached our destination in Battambang within 7 hours as advertised. However, we were not informed that the latter half of the journey would be in a pickup truck, much of which was over unpaved, very bumpy roads. We’ve now learned that this is because the water level is down due to dry season, but it would have been nice to be made aware of this before booking. What we saw of Tonle Sap Lake and the Sangker River was absolutely lovely. The boat was comfortable, and our driver was very hospitable. Le rapport qualité prix est plus que scandaleux... il est affiché 50 €, mais quand vous cliquez sur l'activité, il n'y a que 2 choix, "privé" ou "en groupe", entre 112€ et 125€ par personne... Bref, nous avons finalement choisi l'option "privé", pour être sûre de prendre le départ. La traversée des villages flottants est magnifique, c'est vraiment sympa et les paysages sont incroyables! Le guide ne parle pas anglais... il sait dire les quelques mots en lien avec les endroits où nous passons, mais il prononce juste les mots, il n'est pas possible de lui poser de questions. Magnifique balade , nombreux villages pittoresques le long du trajet Le batelier est aux petits soins, il nous épluche des fruits, installe un hamac et conduit habilement: parfois le passage est vraiment juste! ( balade faite le 22 janvier) Halte dans un village flottant pour un plat de nouilles( non compris) Un peu long sur la fin mais ça vaut vraiment le coup! Très bien organisé

très belle journée, bien organisée, nous avons eu le Bateau pour nous 2. Très confortable , glacière de boissons et fruits, chauffeur sympathique et voyage dépaysant avec la faune ,la flore et les villages flottants. prises en charge à notre hôtel à siem reap et déposées à notre nouvel hôtel à battambang. tres satisfaites, nous recommandons.

Wunderbare Art von Siem Reap nach Battambang zu gelangen! Das tolle Holzboot hatte sogar 2 Liegeflächen. Den besten Blick hat man vom oberen Deck. Alles hat perfekt geklappt! Pünktliche Abholung am Hotel, der Bootsführer hat schon auf uns gewartet und während der Fahrt einige Infos gegeben. In Battambang hat schon ein Tuktuk auf uns gewartet. Die Bootsfahrt selbst hat 6 Stunden gedauert, wir haben aber nicht zum Essen oder bei der Krokodilfarm angehalten. Unterwegs sieht man viele Floating Villages. Toilette war auch ok. Prima manier om op een andere manier te reizen dan per auto. Hartstikke mooi om het leven langs de rivier te zien.. Het is wel een lange rit. Uit en thuis waren we 10 uur onderweg.

départ un peu chaotique... prise en charge par un 4x4 à notre hôtel et 1h de chemins de terre qui longent la rivière très abîmé. le guide ne parle pas anglais et on ne sais pas si on va prendre un jour le bateau. il finit par stopper la voiture et après une marche dans un champ de terre ( en tongues) on arrive enfin au bateau. Ce dernier est très beau et spacieux, que pour nous 4 et rattrape la mes aventures du début. Capitaine très sympa.
