Full description
This is a 5-hour experience from Siem Reap, built around Chreav, Traditional village and Wat Po Banteaychey. It is run by Siem Reaper Travel, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
The countryside immediately around Siem Reap is rice paddy, sugar-palm trees and villages that are five minutes off the temple road and rarely seen by people doing the circuits. The sugar palm is the national tree and its sap is tapped from the crown by men who climb a notched pole twice a day, boiled down to the palm sugar used in every Khmer kitchen. The rice year sets everything: transplanting in the wet months, the fields green through the rains, harvest around November and December, then dry stubble and dust. Late afternoon is when the light works and when the villages are out, so most of these rides run to sunset.
The price covers Hotel pickup and drop-off, Guide, Bicycle and helmet, E-bike available and Bottled water. It does not cover Lunch and Personal expense, so budget for those separately. This runs outdoors, so the operator can call it off for rain, wind or sea conditions, and that decision is usually made on the day. If they cancel, you choose: another date, or your money back in full. We do not keep a booking fee on a tour that did not run.

Had an absolutely great day on this bike tour with guide Ron! He took us through the more rural parts of Siem Reap that you’d never find on your own, and explained so much along the way about local life, culture, and the surroundings. Really added depth to the experience. The bikes themselves were also in great condition, well maintained and comfortable for a day of riding. Mr Vandy was an outstanding guide and led an overall excellent outing. This ride exposes one to the genuine lived experience of everyday Cambodians living on the land. The ride was easy, well paced, and filled with frequent informative stops.

We had a great tour today with Run. Whilst it was a hot day, there were plenty of stops where we could take on water! On the tour we got to experience a Cambodia you don’t see if you stay in the city - which was a real privilege.
This was such a fun experience! The entire day was really well thought out and smooth and the ride was a nice way to see another side of life in Cambodia beyond the city and temples. Ron was an excellent tour guide, super friendly and happy to answer all of our random questions about Cambodian life. Although it was very hot, it was worth it! I will say if you are sensitive to a bumpy rode, my bum was pretty sore afterwards. Otherwise, 10/10 experience! Thanks Ron!

Everyone should do this tour to get a lot of insight in what people do for a living and how to make the best of their lives. I had a lot of fun throughout!
Guide was supportive and knowledgeable; stops were interesting and well spaced. E-bike was a good choice for me but woulda made it just fine on the specialized mountain bikes.
