This is a 3-hour experience in Siem Reap, built around Tuk tuk, Preah Ang Chek Preah Ang Chorm Shrine and Flower Shop. Khmer food is milder than Thai and sourer than Vietnamese, built on prahok fermented fish paste and on kroeung, a lemongrass, galangal, turmeric and kaffir-lime paste pounded fresh. Guide and driver were extremely courteous, and we learned a lot. This is definitely a street food tour for adventurous eaters - insects, grubs, frogs, duck fetus in egg, and more. We did have some tamer dishes, but cleanliness and conditions might not be pleasing to all Westerners. Even the “restaurants” were pop-up outdoor eateries. We enjoyed being with the locals. Our guide did not have all locations scouted out in advance which was good for flexibility but a bit disconcerting - and made for some close calls for the restroom. The tuk tuk was adorable but and driver had cold beer, water and
we chose the private tour option and it was absolutely worth it. What we liked most was the fact that we avoided the most tourist spots, our guide brought us to places where only locals go and which we would have never found by ourselves. we had so much food...some of it quite our of our comfort zone but we were definitely happy we took the leap of faith as everything it was delicious. 100% recommended!!

The guide was very nice but he did not seem to have a plan. I have done many food tours in the past and our guides had set things and set places we were stopping to taste food but on this tour we just seemed to be aimlessly wandering most of the time.
