Small Group Tour of Kulen Elephant Forest in Siem Reap

It was a very well-planned and enjoyable tour. The staff were kind, and our guide Kia was very attentive, warm, and answered all of our questions thoroughly. It was also great to support the sanctuary while having such an experience.

This was a great experience to meet the retired elephants in the sanctuary. The guide explained how the animals were cared for and guided us to safely feeding two their afternoon snack. We were able to touch many of the elephants under the guidance of our guide and the elephant hadlers.

I loved this tour it was so good. Communication was great. We got collected by tuk tuk to be taken to the meeting point. Then we got a small mini van to the forest with a safety briefing and background to the reserve. You get to make some food for the elephants and then take a walk to meet them. two elephants are chosen for the day to be fed and then you walk through the forest to hopefully meet others or watch others. The guide kia was fab and a pleasure to have guide us. We loved him. The elephants seem well cared for and free to roam it was lovely. Highly recommend!!

Loved the tour and getting to see those beautiful creatures in a safe and caring environment. We had plenty of time To ask questions and spend time observing the elephants.

Very fun day - transport was efficient , tour itself was unforgettable getting up and personal with the elephants and taking a walk with them thru the forest ! Getting very interesting information all about the elephants and forestation across Cambodia from our very FUNNY and knowledgeable tour guide . Thank you for making the day incredible!

This was a excellent afternoon, the best part was the care of the elephants was the main priority and what they wanted to do. It was lovely to see these gentle giants walking around seeming happy and not being used for the tourist trade to ride on . The guide was very knowledgeable and made this so much fun. So glad I booked this tour! The Kulen Elephant Sanctuary is a very special place that is run by caring and dedicated staff. Being so close to the elephants, making their food and feeding them, watching them roam and play together was so beautiful. Tickets on the sanctuary website were booked out for the day we wanted, so finding the tour that the guide, Lucky, provided was indeed ‘lucky!’ The whole process from pickup to arrival to the experience and return back to Siem Reap was seamless. An amazing experience that we will recommend to anyone visiting Cambodia. Tour guide Tom was very passionate and informative about the elephants, and spoke very good English. We were able to prepare the elephants food, feed them, stroke them and walk with them throughout the sanctuary. The elephants clearly have a positive, trusting relationship with the workers so were very calm and content around humans.
