A full-day trip from Siem Reap that visits Depends on the selected option, Angkor Wat, South Gate Siem Reap and Bayon Temple. There are 6 stops altogether, so it fills the day rather than leaving long gaps between two or three highlights. The price covers English-speaking guide, Bottled drinking water and Round-trip transfers to and from your hotel. It does not cover x admission to angkor wat and x meals and beverages, so budget for those separately. Sunrise at Angkor Wat is watched from the edge of the northern reflecting pool, where the five towers come up black against the sky and then double in the water. The ticket office opens at 04:30 and Angkor Wat lets people in from 05:00, which is why tours leave Siem Reap around 04:30 for a twenty-minute drive; the sky colours before the sun clears the towers, so arriving at first light is already late for the best of it. Dry season from November to March gives the cleanest skies, while the rains bring cloud that can either kill the sunrise or make it. The pool edge fills early, the southern pool is usually quieter, and a guide who knows which side to stand on is the difference between a photograph and a wall of raised phones. Priced per person at about $16 each, so a party of 8 comes to $125. The price you see on this page is the total for the party size you pick, not a per-head figure to multiply. Our Guide Ounra was perfect..he waited for us at 5 am at Angkor wat and we started the tour to see the sunrise. he knows all the perfect spots of view and knows how to avoid the crowd. furthermore he is such a great Fotografer. we have to thank him for this great experience. Quick trip along the most important parts of Angkor with friendly guide. Everything according to schedule. Restaurant was pretty expensive for this area but propably as everywhere close to temples.
Good value for the price! early morning pick up! the guide was cool and friendly. But be prepared, it is a lot of walking so bring water and some snacks. You have a break for lunch (at your own expense). Overall it is all well organized
Tours operation reconfirm our booking 1 day before about our location and pick up time. Super cheap price in Siem Reap with less than 10$ to get English speaking guide / pick up drop off service. while tuk tuk driver cost at 20$ for sunrise and small tours.
i had a message from them the night before saying pick up was 4:30-5am. we all got up and ready and sat waiting in the reception of out hotel which is where i told them we would be. i messaged them asking where they were at 5:15am, eventually when it got to 6am we had missed sunrise and were still sat waiting in reception so we gave up and went back to bed. they never showed up to pick us ip and they never responded to my message. i went and stood out on the street for awhile thinking they may have been waiting out there but no one was there.
Very little information about history but too much ‘’private’’ time. First day we went on our own. We were not happy. That’s why we bought tour with guide. But in the end of the day realised that with guide or without guide was no difference.
朝迎えの時間は少し遅れましたが、スケジュールには余裕があり、日の出の時間には十分間に合いました。 雲が厚く綺麗な日の出とアンコールワットのセットは見れませんでしたが、道中の解説は丁寧で、英語が得意でない私にとっても、予習していれば理解できる内容でした。 道中トイレもしっかり案内してくれ、プライベートの時間も取っていただけた上に、フォトスポットでユニークな写真をいくつも撮っていただけました。 ツアーで一緒になった方に小さいお子さんがいて、遺跡巡りに飽きていたのをガイドさんが上手く対応して、親がゆっくり見て回れるように面倒を見ていたのも良いなと思いました。 これは余談ですが、帰り道、途中で降りて行きたいところがある旨を伝え、他のツアー客に迷惑にならないよう、帰り道を逸れないポイントでお願いしたら、快く了解して下さり、降ろしていただけました。時間のロスがなくなって、とてもありがたい対応をしていただきました。
Great tour with nice & funny guide!
暑くて冷たい水がもらうるとのことだったが水がもらえなかった. 冷たいタオルももらえなかった。 なぜ？
pros: the guide was great, always helping and taking pictures of us; sunrise amazing; restaurant chosen for lunch really good. cons: big group (22 people); the English of the guide sometimes was difficult to understand for me.
