A half-day experience in Siem Reap. The operator sums it up as kompong pluk floating village. The price covers Drinking Water. It does not cover big boat ($20 per person), tour guide and entrance fee, so budget for those separately. The Tonle Sap is the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia and it reverses direction twice a year: in the monsoon the Mekong pushes water back up the Tonle Sap river and the lake swells several times over, then drains again from about November. The villages on it live with that. Kampong Phluk's stilt houses stand six to ten metres up on their legs, dry underneath in March and wading depth in October; Kampong Khleang is larger, further out and far less visited; Chong Kneas is closest to Siem Reap and the most touristed. Which village works, and whether the boat can reach the flooded forest at all, depends entirely on the month. The price steps with party size rather than multiplying: 2 travellers is $30, 5 is $60 and 6 is $60. You are quoted the total for your party, not a per-head rate. Happy Angkor Tour Cambodia runs it. We had a great day on March 2026 with Mr Wei on the Tonle Sap tour. We enjoyed a terrific boat ride, visited a floating restaurant / shop and took in the incredible beauty of the Tonle Sap river system. Mr Wei was extremely helpful polite and good natured. Would highly recommend.

Interesting tour with lots to see. Tonle Sap is fascinating. Well worth the long drive out there
It was a clear day and we were able to see the most beautiful sunset. It was an incredible sight I had never seen before. My only regret is not able to eat anaconda at the floating restaurant,. However, the beautiful sunset more than made up for any regrets.
Should not choose this tour in the dry season. The river water level is extremely low and you will not be able to see the scenery you expect. It is not worth paying 50 USD in total for a 30 minute cruise on a small boat. It is recommended that you inquire about the water level etc. in advance.
ツアーの内容そのものに不満はなく、水上村とマングローブを満喫できました。 ただ、料金設定には注意が必要です。サイトにはいささか曖昧に記載されていますが、本ツアーの料金に含まれるのはホテルと港の往復の送迎代のみです。追加で、少なくとも、モーターボートに乗るのにひとりあたり20ドル払う必要がありました。さらに、オプションですが、水上レストランから手漕ぎボートに乗ってマングローブに入るのに5ドルかかります。参加人数にもよるとは思いますが、ガイドが付いていないことを加味して、割に合う値段かというといささか疑問です。
