A 2-day trip out of Beijing taking in Meet your tour guide, 11:30 AM - Mutianyu Great Wall, 16:00 - MuBus Visitor Center and 17:00 - Overnight Stay at MuBus Villa. There are 6 stops in all.

The running order is Meet your tour guide, then 11:30 AM - Mutianyu Great Wall, then 16:00 - MuBus Visitor Center, then 17:00 - Overnight Stay at MuBus Villa, then 08:00 AM - Mutianyu Great Wall, and on from there.

The price covers bus transportation throughout the tour, English speaking tour guide Service, Entrance ticket to the Mutianyu Great Wall and Countryside homestay dumpling set meal with drinks included. It does not cover cable car at Mutianyu and downhill slide at Water Great Wall are optional—purchase tickets on-site if you wish to ride, so budget for those separately.

Meet your tour guide

11:30 AM - Mutianyu Great Wall

10:00 Meet at the assembly point and board an English-speaking coach for the 1.5-hour drive from downtown Beijing to Mutianyu Great Wall. 11:30 Upon arriving at Mutianyu, we'll explore the West Route today. Take the cable car up to Tower 14, then hike west to Tower 23—the "Hero Slope," Mutianyu's highest point. Soak in sweeping panoramic views of the Great Wall, including Towers 21–23, which retain their original,unrestored beauty. The whole hike takes about 3.5 hours.

16:00 - MuBus Visitor Center

Return to the MuBus Visitor Center and savor a hearty country-style buffet, featuring fresh local flavors and traditional Chinese dishes.

17:00 - Overnight Stay at MuBus Villa

Check into MuBus Villa, a traditional courtyard retreat at the foot of the Wall. Relax on the terrace with a cup of coffee or Chinese tea as the sunset paints the Great Wall in golden hues. Overnight at the villa.

08:00 AM - Mutianyu Great Wall

07:30 Wake up at your own pace and enjoy a relaxed breakfast at MuBus Villa. 08:00 Today we'll explore Mutianyu's East Route at sunrise, before the crowds arrive—enjoy a private rendezvous with the Great Wall and soak in its serene beauty. We'll also visit the legendary General's Tower, a rare fortress-like structure found nowhere else on the Wall.

12:30 PM - Dumpling-making

11:00 After the visit, transfer back to MuBus Villa and relax. 12:30 Join your village host for a hands-on dumpling-making session, immersing yourself in authentic rural culture. Then enjoy the dumplings you made for lunch.

16:30 - Return to Beijing

14:30 After lunch, say goodbye to your village host and board the coach back to downtown Beijing. 16:30 Arrive at the downtown meeting point, bringing your Great Wall overnight adventure to a memorable close.
