The running order is Shanghai to Hangzhou, then Hangzhou to Huangshan, then Huangshan, then Huangshan to Shanghai.

Shanghai to Hangzhou
Take a morning high-speed train to Hangzhou. After lunch, explore West Lake along Broken Bridge, Bai Causeway, and Solitary Hill. Ride a traditional hand-rowed boat through quieter waterways, then visit a heritage fan workshop to make your own folding fan. Enjoy free time by the lake in the evening.
Hangzhou to Huangshan
Walk through Nine Creeks and Misty Trees into Longjing Village. Visit a local tea-farming family for tea-field walking, seasonal tea picking, traditional roasting, brewing, and tasting. Enjoy a farmhouse lunch, then take the high-speed train to Huangshan and transfer to your hotel at the mountain foot.
Huangshan
Take the scenic shuttle and Yungu Cableway onto Huangshan. Walk through the summit area to see granite peaks, iconic pine trees, and mountain viewpoints. Depending on conditions and fitness, the route may include part of the West Sea Grand Canyon. Stay overnight on the summit and enjoy sunset if weather allows.
Huangshan to Shanghai
Wake early for sunrise from a suitable summit viewpoint, chosen according to weather and hotel location. After breakfast, continue through the scenic area and descend by Yuping Cableway. See the Greeting Pine, collect your luggage, enjoy an Anhui-style lunch, and return to Shanghai Hongqiao by high-speed train.
