Dies ist ein 4-stuendiges Erlebnis in Phnom Penh. Es wird von Passion Indochina Travel Co.,Ltd. durchgefuehrt, einem Anbieter, bei dem wir direkt buchen statt ueber einen Wiederverkaeufer, weshalb wir Ihren Platz reservieren koennen, bevor wir Ihre Buchung als endgueltig behandeln.

Tuol Sleng war eine weiterfuehrende Schule in Phnom Penh, die die Roten Khmer 1975 in das Sicherheitsgefaengnis S-21 umwandelten. Von den schaetzungsweise 12.000 bis 20.000 dort festgehaltenen Menschen ueberlebte etwa ein Dutzend. Die Klassenzimmer haben noch die eisernen Bettgestelle und die Fotografien, die das Regime bei der Ankunft von jedem Gefangenen machte. Choeung Ek, etwa 15 Kilometer entfernt, ist der Ort, an den die meisten zur Toetung gebracht wurden, und sein Stupa bewahrt rund 5.000 Schaedel; der Audioguide dort wird teilweise von einer Ueberlebenden erzaehlt und ist der Grund, warum die meisten Besucher es ueberhaupt durchstehen. Beide Orte werden still besucht, dauern zusammen etwa einen halben Tag und sind nicht fuer kleine Kinder geeignet.

Tour was amazing! EK our guide was so kind, considerate, passionate and educated on his history, he explained everything to us in thorough detail and gave us a phenomenal understanding of everything involved in the tour, I highly recommend. I will also be coming back with my family and friends so they can learn the history of Cambodia hopefully once again with the expert and professional tour guide EK. 5 stars all around. Really enjoyable private tour of the Killing Fields and S21 prison. Our guide EK was very knowledgeable and it was good to learn about the history of Cambodia and about the civil war. Highly recommend.

The tour was excellent, although we thought that the museum might have been better 1st, the tour guide was brilliant and answered all the questions. A MUST SEE!!!!

Our guide EK and our tuk tuk driver were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. We were provided with plenty of icy cold water throughout the morning . EK shared so many facts about life and changes in Cambodia ...we learnt so much about the history of this amazing country, not just about the Killing Fields. The actual tour was unmissable...and I think an essential part of a trip to Cambodia so you get a real understanding of the country's rich history and culture. We would highly recommend this trip!

We had a very educational day. Our guide Ek was so lovely and respectful and gave us so much information about not only the prison and killing fields, but also the whole Khmer Rouge regime and how it started. It’s a must do activity when you’re in Phnom Pehn.
