Eine ganztaegige Tour ab Siem Reap, die Siem Reap Province, Angkor Wat und South Gate Siem Reap and Bayon Temple besucht. Es gibt insgesamt 9 Stopps, sodass der Tag gut ausgefuellt ist, statt lange Luecken zwischen zwei oder drei Hoehepunkten zu lassen.
Angkor Wat wurde in der ersten Haelfte des 12. Jahrhunderts von Suryavarman II als hinduistischer Tempel fuer Vishnu errichtet, spaeter buddhistisch genutzt, und ist mit rund 162 Hektar innerhalb seines Grabens das groesste religioese Monument der Welt. Im Gegensatz zu fast jedem anderen Khmer-Tempel ist er nach Westen ausgerichtet. Die aeussere Galerie traegt etwa 600 Meter Flachrelief, darunter das Buttern des Milchozeans, und die zentralen Tuerme stellen den Berg Meru dar. Auf der oberen Ebene gilt eine tatsaechlich durchgesetzte Kleiderordnung: Schultern und Knie bedeckt, keine Unterhemden, sonst werden Sie an der Treppe zurueckgewiesen. Ein Angkor Pass ist erforderlich und kostet 37 USD fuer einen Tag, 62 fuer drei und 72 fuer sieben, nur ueber Angkor Enterprise erhaeltlich; unter 12-Jaehrige sind mit Pass kostenlos.
Im Preis enthalten sind Trinkwasser in Flaschen und Hin- und Rueckfahrt-Transfers zu und von Ihrem Hotel. Nicht enthalten sind Angkor-Tempel-Pass und Mittagessen, das muessen Sie separat einplanen. Very nice friendly driver Mr Khun who was polite, friendly and very accomodating. He took us where we wanted and explained what to look for at each site. We had an amazing day
I had a great day, we saw six temple sites and I bought lunch for us. The day was hot at 40 degrees and the driver greeted my return with cold water and a wet cloth which was very welcome. We shared humour together and met locals. I will post my video on YouTube manvancam
My guide was super knowledgable about local history and was very patient. He gave enough time for me to explore each site.
Great experience. Tickets easy to buy on the Angkor Pass app. Great to have our own driver on hand and use the itinerary as a guide but to have control of timings as a private group. Official Tour guides available to hire at all the temple sites if you want one. We were just looking for transportation and this was perfect.
The best thing was the availability of the Tuk Tuk driver who took us to the places that we checked, with great kindness and excellent attention

- Driver was always ready and waiting as we finished each section to move us to the next area on our tour. - Asked for a suggestion on local food for lunch and was brought to a nice restaurant that was great. - Driver lined us up with a tour guide to take us through the sites and give us background knowledge on what we were viewing which was a grat help. - Driver and guide spoke English and did not have any problems understanding besides a word here and there which we were able to figure out. Very friendly and knowledgeable of the area.
