Ganztagestour nach Battambang ab Siem Reap

Amazing day out! Being short on time in Cambodia and not being able to schedule a stop over in Battambang into our travel plans we opted for this day trip from Siem Reap. It’s a long day with the travelling there and back but well worth it if you’re in the same boat as us. Our guide, Kim, was great. Very knowledgeable and is very passionate about his country and its history. It was a pleasure to spend the day with him. No specific highlights as the entire day was brilliant.

The pickup from our hotel by Pheara was great He is a very good driver and the trip down even though long couldn’t have been more pleasant we had cold water and fruit provided. Our experience in Battambang was fantastic made all the more better by Kim whose knowledge of the area is really good. I particularly enjoyed the bamboo railway but the sight of millions of bats leaving their cave was something else.

Nous avons eu un guide excellent, passionné par l’histoire de son pays et parlant bien anglais. Une occasion de vivre ce voyage sous un autre angle. Lors de cette visite privée nous avons même pu faire une étape qui n’était pas prévue dans le programme, à Wat Kor. Le chauffeur qui nous a conduit AR de Phnom Penh était un as du volant, prudent et habile, nous sommes rentrés sous une pluie battante et les routes ne sont pas éclairées et n’ont que très peu de marquage au sol … super expérience.
