Dies ist ein 9-stuendiges Erlebnis ab Siem Reap, rund um Banteay Srei und Phnom Kulen National Park and Beng Mealea. Phnom Kulen ist das Sandsteinplateau, aus dem die Steine der Angkor-Tempel gebrochen wurden, und der Ort, an dem sich Jayavarman II im Jahr 802 zum universalen Monarchen erklaerte, das Gruendungsdatum, das Kambodschaner ihrem Reich geben. Die Strasse hinauf ist steil und die Anlage hat einen eigenen Eintritt von 20 USD, getrennt vom Angkor Pass. Oben befinden sich der zweistufige Wasserfall, unter dem man schwimmt, das mit Lingas geschnitzte Flussbett, der groessere Cousin von Kbal Spean, und ein liegender Buddha, der in einen Felsblock an der Gipfel-Pagode gehauen ist und barfuss erreicht wird. Es ist ein voller Tag ab Siem Reap und am besten waehrend oder kurz nach der Regenzeit, wenn die Wasserfaelle tatsaechlich fliessen.

Super day trip to Banteay Srei, Phnom Kulen & Beng Melea A fantastic day beyond the main Angkor circuit — the pink sandstone carvings at Banteay Srei, the scenic Kulen Waterfall on Phnom Kulen, and the wild, unrestored ruins of Beng Melea were all highlights. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable throughout, adding great context to every stop, and our driver was friendly and reliable all day. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to see more of Cambodia beyond the standard temples.

Praim’s a really good guide. He speaks good English, is very knowledgeable, keen to share his knowledge and a good photographer! Flexible too, very kindly suggesting a really good alternative to one attraction we’d already seen. Also went out of his way, working on Khmer New Year’s Day and an extended day. The tour was fantastic ! Praim was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive to our needs—we appreciated that he took the time to explain Cambodian culture to us as well as accommodate our schedule. Overall, the experience was really great, each of the activities had their unique characteristic, so it was a lot of fun ! Highly recommend.
Very nice Khmer temples and a lovely reclining buddha, a good guide with lots of knowledge. But I think since Kulen NP costs 20$ pp and day extra entry fee (in addition to Angkor pass!) we would no longer recommend this tour. The cliff is far from being spectecular and the waterfall is crowded and accompanied by tons of food stall, tourist souvenir huts. You mus[ pay extra for change room and locker... I really wonder, why the area is called a national park?!?

Praim was absolutely SUPERB!!! He made our trip to the mountains so special- attentive to every little detail- iced water in abundance- ice cold little towels- extremely good driving in a comfortable a/c car.
