Eine ganztaegige Tour ab Siem Reap, die Epic Arts Café besucht.
Die Landschaft unmittelbar um Siem Reap besteht aus Reisfeldern, Zuckerpalmen und Doerfern, die fuenf Minuten von der Tempelstrasse entfernt liegen und von Leuten auf den Rundfahrten selten gesehen werden. Die Zuckerpalme ist der Nationalbaum, und ihr Saft wird von Maennern, die zweimal taeglich an einer eingekerbten Stange hochklettern, aus der Krone gezapft und zu dem Palmzucker eingekocht, der in jeder khmerischen Kueche verwendet wird. Das Reisjahr bestimmt alles: Umpflanzen in den feuchten Monaten, gruene Felder waehrend der Regenzeit, Ernte um November und Dezember, dann trockene Stoppeln und Staub. Am spaeten Nachmittag ist das Licht am besten und die Doerfer sind aktiv, deshalb laufen die meisten dieser Ausfahrten bis zum Sonnenuntergang.

Highly recommended tour! Vandy is a great guide, speaks excellent English, and knows a lot about the region. The pickup was perfectly on time. We loved that we could help shape the itinerary (e.g., choosing the pepper plantation). There was no rushing at all, and Vandy always adapted to our preferences. Would definitely do it again!
The tour was very nice. It allowed us to see all the main points of interest in Kampot and Kamp. We tasted locally grown pepper and had lunch on the beach. Our guide was fantastic and allowed us to customize our experience by letting us choose some activities. We also saw less touristy places, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the local culture. I highly recommend it. Cambodia is fantastic, and the people are even more so!
We had a fabulous tour with Vandy! Such a lovely day with all the ladies. We got to see beautiful lookout spots and rice fields and explored a cave! The pepper farms were amazing as well and we got to do a tasting before going to lunch and getting fresh fish!
Sa Ny was a wonderful guide from start to end. Not to mention a delightful person to meet. Between jokes, smiles and great vibes, while learning about the diversity and the challenges of Khmer culture, we really enjoyed our time/journey. If we had the chance to do it again, we wouldn't hesitate

This tour was such a great way to see both towns without having to plan the logistics ourselves. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly the whole day. We started at the Salt Fields but the best time to visit is in dry season. The Phnom Chhngok Cave Temple was a real highlight — climbing up into the limestone cave to find a 7th-century Hindu shrine felt like a hidden gem most tourists miss. The Secret Lake was beautifully peaceful, and the Kampot Pepper Farm tour with free tour and tasting afterward was excellent. Kep Crab Market was a definite highlight for food lovers, and the Blue Swimmer
