Jahrhunderts im Massstab von Angkor Wat, weitgehend unberaeumt gelassen, ueberquert auf Stegen ueber eingestuerzte Galerien. Koh Ker, zwei Stunden nordoestlich, war im 10. Jahrhundert kurzzeitig die Hauptstadt und besitzt Prasat Thom, eine siebenstufige Sandsteinpyramide von 36 Metern Hoehe, die man ueber eine Holztreppe besteigen kann. Sambor Prei Kuk, 2017 von der UNESCO gelistet, ist aelter als Angkor selbst, vorangkorianische Backsteintuerme, die im Wald stehen. Einige dieser Staetten haben einen eigenen, separaten Eintritt zusaetzlich zum Angkor Pass.
