Der Tonle Sap ist der groesste Suesswassersee Suedostasiens und kehrt zweimal im Jahr seine Fliessrichtung um: in der Monsunzeit drueckt der Mekong Wasser zurueck in den Tonle-Sap-Fluss, und der See schwillt mehrfach an, um sich ab etwa November wieder zu entleeren. Die Doerfer darauf leben damit. Die Pfahlhaeuser von Kampong Phluk stehen sechs bis zehn Meter hoch auf ihren Stelzen, im Maerz trocken darunter und im Oktober wadentief; Kampong Khleang ist groesser, weiter draussen und deutlich weniger besucht; Chong Kneas liegt am naechsten zu Siem Reap und ist am touristischsten. Welches Dorf passt und ob das Boot den ueberfluteten Wald ueberhaupt erreichen kann, haengt vollstaendig vom Monat ab.

We had a great day on March 2026 with Mr Wei on the Tonle Sap tour. We enjoyed a terrific boat ride, visited a floating restaurant / shop and took in the incredible beauty of the Tonle Sap river system. Mr Wei was extremely helpful polite and good natured. Would highly recommend.

Nuestro conductor Mr. Vannak nos ha proporcionado un viaje en tuk tuk muy agradable y divertido. La actividad en sí ha sido muy interesante, dado pudimos ver cómo viven los habitantes de este pueblo pesquero flotante, además, los pudimos ver pescando. El paseo en barca por el manglar ha sido auténtico y relajante. No obstante, al no estar incluidas las tarifas en la actividad contratada el precio final se dispara de forma considerable: consumiciones, propinas, actividades extra, donaciones a la escuela de los lugareños, etc. Por ello, aconsejamos llevar dinero extra. It was a clear day and we were able to see the most beautiful sunset. It was an incredible sight I had never seen before. My only regret is not able to eat anaconda at the floating restaurant,. However, the beautiful sunset more than made up for any regrets.

Should not choose this tour in the dry season. The river water level is extremely low and you will not be able to see the scenery you expect. It is not worth paying 50 USD in total for a 30 minute cruise on a small boat. It is recommended that you inquire about the water level etc. in advance.

ツアーの内容そのものに不満はなく、水上村とマングローブを満喫できました。 ただ、料金設定には注意が必要です。サイトにはいささか曖昧に記載されていますが、本ツアーの料金に含まれるのはホテルと港の往復の送迎代のみです。追加で、少なくとも、モーターボートに乗るのにひとりあたり20ドル払う必要がありました。さらに、オプションですが、水上レストランから手漕ぎボートに乗ってマングローブに入るのに5ドルかかります。参加人数にもよるとは思いますが、ガイドが付いていないことを加味して、割に合う値段かというといささか疑問です。
