Dies ist ein 2-stuendiges Erlebnis in Uluwatu. Ihr Platz wird beim Anbieter reserviert, bevor wir Ihre Buchung als endgueltig behandeln.

Die Straende auf der Bukit-Halbinsel rund um Uluwatu sind Buchten unter Kalksteinklippen, erreichbar ueber Stufen, und jede verhaelt sich bei der Flut anders. Padang Padang ist klein, geschuetzt und fuellt sich schnell; Bingin ist ein schmaler Streifen unter in die Klippe gebauten Warungs; Suluban ist der Hoehleneingang zum Uluwatu-Surfspot und verschwindet bei Flut fast ganz; Melasti ist ein langer offener Strand mit einer Strasse hinunter. Das Surfen hier ist Riffbrechung fuer erfahrene Surfer, mit Padang Padangs linker Welle, die in den Juli- und August-Duenungen roehrt, und Dreamland dem einzigen Sandboden-Strandbrecher, der fuer Unterricht geeignet ist. Bei Niedrigwasser liegt das Riff frei, und es ist die Zeit fuer Gezeitentuempel, nicht zum Schwimmen.

The surfing was so fun me and my girlfriend both loved it! The instructors were kind and knowledgeable. At the end of the day we were riding the waves and having a great time, well worth the time and money. We very much recommend.

If the lesson is at Batu Bolong, Kuta, Legian or Seminyak, yes: those beaches break slowly over sand and every school teaches there. The Uluwatu reefs are not for learning. Board, rash vest and an instructor in the water with you are included; bring sunscreen for the backs of your legs.
