Die Sheikh-Zayed-Grossmoschee nimmt den groessten Teil davon ein, und das zu Recht. Kostenloser Eintritt, eine Abaya wird Frauen am Eingang gestellt, und die Zeit lohnt sich sowohl fuer den Teppich der Haupthalle und die Marmoreinlegearbeiten des Innenhofs als auch fuer die Kuppeln, die jeder fotografiert.

Das Heritage Village am Wellenbrecher ist das Gegengewicht: eine rekonstruierte Oasensiedlung mit einem funktionierenden Souk, Metallarbeitern und Toepfern, und dem besten direkten Blick auf die Skyline der Corniche ueber das Wasser hinweg. Der nahegelegene Dattelmarkt ist ein wirklich lokaler Stopp statt eines inszenierten.

Der Rest ist eine Fahrt entlang der Corniche mit Vorbeifahrten am Emirates Palace und an Saadiyat Island, wo sich die Museen befinden.

Excellent tour that covered all the key highlights of Abu Dhabi. The guide provided clear explanations with a great overview of the city’s history and culture. Comfortable car drive passing all major attractions, with enough time to fully enjoy the Dates Market, Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, and the Heritage Village. A really enjoyable experience — highly recommended, especially our Indian tour guide who was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional.
