Franco Dragone baute die Shows, die Cirque du Soleil beruehmt machten, und verbrachte dann eine Karriere damit, Wasser auf der Buehne Dinge tun zu lassen. La Perle ist seine residente Dubai-Produktion, in einem eigens errichteten Wassertheater in Al Habtoor City, und das Gebaeude ist Teil der Show: die Buehne flutet mit rund 2,7 Millionen Litern Wasser und laeuft innerhalb von Sekunden wieder ab, wiederholt, waehrend der ganzen Show.
Was darauf passiert, ist Luftarbeit, Hochsprung vom Dach des Theaters, Motorraeder, und eine Besetzung von rund fuenfundsechzig Darstellern. Es gibt keinen Dialog, also geht nichts in der Uebersetzung verloren und es funktioniert fuer jedes Alter.
Das Theater ist rund und steil ansteigend, kein Sitz ist weit von der Buehne entfernt, obwohl die vorderen Reihen offiziell eine Spritzzone sind, und das ist kein Scherz.
Laeuft etwas ueber neunzig Minuten ohne Pause.
Lounge-Zugang, Getraenke und Snacks haengen davon ab, welches Ticket Sie nehmen, entscheiden Sie das also bei der Buchung. Kommen Sie dreissig Minuten frueher, Nachzuegler werden bis zu einer Pause in der Vorstellung hinten gehalten, und bei einer so durchgehenden Show kann das eine lange Wartezeit sein.

the show is absolutely amazing, completely emersive with truly talented acrobats, dancers, actors and motorcyclists. Bravo to them. well organised with me collecting tickets from the venue. if you are ever in Dubai you must see this from the choreographers of circe du soleil. we were so close to the dancers that we could touch them which made it so much more real
